Testitis occurs on one or both sides, and is common on one side. The biggest harm to men is male infertility. Once it occurs, it must be actively treated and prevented. In addition, when treating orchitis, it is necessary to clarify the acute and chronic conditions. Because different symptoms are treated differently.
In clinic, orchitis is generally divided into acute and chronic types:
1. Acute orchitis
Acute orchitis is acute, the lateral scrotum is swollen and unwell, the patient has a mass in the scrotum, the testis is thickened and enlarged, the lateral scrotum is swollen and subsided, and the lower abdomen and groin contact diagnosis is easy to distinguish between the testis and testis, the spermatic cord is thickened, the diameter of the vas deferens is enlarged, the prostate is hardened and fibrotic, the prostatic fluid is common with pus cells, and urine analysis shows prostatitis infection.
2. Chronic orchitis
Chronic orchitis is common. Some patients become chronic due to incomplete cure in the acute phase, but many patients have no clear acute phase. Inflammation usually occurs in chronic prostatitis and injury. Patients often feel pain and swelling of the lateral scrotum. The pain is related to the lower abdomen and the ipsilateral groin, and sometimes can be combined with secondary hydrocele. Testicles are often enlarged and hardened to some extent during examination. There is slight tenderness, and the vas deferens on the same side can be thickened.
Testicles are hardened by inflammatory stimulation for a long time. When sexual intercourse reaches the climax of ejaculation, the testicles and vas deferens discharge and contract, and the pain lasts for a period of time after sexual intercourse. Testitis appears, the quality of sexual life is disturbed, and male infertility may occur. Therefore, if epididymitis occurs, it is best to continue treatment during the acute period in order to cure it.
