The uterus is an important part of the female body, and due to various reasons, uterine abnormalities, including uterine dysplasia, are one of them. We must roughly understand it.
Classification of uterine developmental abnormalities
1. Primordial uterus: also known as trace uterus. This is due to the cessation of development shortly after the convergence of the bilateral accessory renal ducts. This type of uterus is very small, only 1-3 centimeters long, and because there is no endometrium, there is no menstruation, often accompanied by no vagina.
2. Mediastinal uterus: The accessory renal ducts on both sides have fully converged, but the mediastinum has not degenerated. The appearance of the uterus is normal, and the uterine cavity is divided into two parts. If the mediastinum is not completely degraded, an incomplete mediastinal uterus is formed. When the mediastinum extends to the vagina, it can also form a vaginal mediastinum.
3. Congenital absence of uterus: The middle segment of the accessory renal ducts on both sides is underdeveloped and cannot synthesize a uterus. Patients often have no vagina, but their ovaries develop normally, so their secondary sexual characteristics are not affected.
4. Double horn uterus: Most of the ends of the accessory mesonephric ducts fuse, the mediastinum degenerates, forming a single cervix or vagina. The bottom of the uterus is incomplete, and the shape of the uterus is double horn, hence it is called a double horn uterus or saddle shaped uterus.
5. Double uterus: Double uterus, double cervix, double vagina. It is because the accessory renal ducts on both sides are not suitable.
6. Uniangular uterus: One side of the accessory renal ducts on both sides is fully developed, while the other side is underdeveloped or not fully developed. It can be a residual horn uterus, which only has a uterine cavity and no uterine opening.
7. Uterine dysplasia: also known as immature uterus. After the merger of the accessory mesonephric ducts on both sides, the development stops for a short period of time. The cervix is relatively long, with a small outer opening, and the uterus is smaller than normal. There are often infertility, oligomenorrhea, or irregular menstruation.
Symptoms of abnormal uterine development
1. Obesity: When the uterus lacks heat, the human body accumulates fat to maintain its normal functioning. The more obvious the symptoms of cold uterus, the more fat it accumulates and becomes obese.
2. Lower abdominal pain: Lower abdominal pain is often caused by uterine lesions and is rare. One side of lower abdominal pain is often caused by lesions in the uterine appendages on this side, while the right side of lower abdominal pain is also caused by appendicitis, bilateral lower abdominal pain, or even total abdominal pain, which may be caused by rupture of ovarian cysts, rupture of fallopian tube pregnancy, or pelvic peritonitis.
3. Private itching: There are many reasons for external genital itching, such as inadequate hygiene, drug allergies, tight fitting clothing, bacterial infections, fungal infections, octopus, etc. Itching in the private area often makes women uncomfortable and seriously affects their daily life and work. Women who have sex are likely to have vaginitis, which can become stubborn itching and difficult to cure if left untreated for a long time. Women's private parts are relatively fragile, and it is recommended that women take daily measures to prevent itching.
