What is the difference between premenstrual syndrome and pregnancy? What are the early symptoms and preventive measures of premenstrual syndrome
Premenstrual syndrome is a manifestation of abnormal menstruation in women, and its harm is also quite serious. Especially after pregnancy, more attention should be paid to preventing reasonable daily life details.
The difference between premenstrual syndrome and pregnancy
Women of childbearing age repeatedly experience a series of mental, behavioral, and physical symptoms 7-14 days before their new menstrual cycle (i.e. the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle), and the symptoms immediately disappear after menstruation. This disease has more prominent mental and emotional disorders, and was once named premenstrual tension syndrome. In recent years, the symptoms of this disease have a wide range, involving not only psychiatric and neurological symptoms, but also some unrelated organs and systems, including various organic and functional symptoms, hence it is called premenstrual syndrome.
The relationship between premenstrual syndrome and pregnancy
The causes of pre pregnancy syndrome require understanding. Premenstrual syndrome is most common among women of childbearing age aged 30 to 40. The typical premenstrual syndrome starts one week before menstruation and gradually worsens, with the most severe symptoms occurring 2-3 days before the onset of menstruation. Among patients who suddenly disappear after menstruation, some symptoms persist for a long time and completely disappear 3-4 days after the onset of menstruation. Women with premenstrual syndrome often experience various discomfort symptoms, with severe cases accompanied by mental symptoms, with anxiety symptoms accounting for 70% -100%. 60% of patients with premenstrual syndrome have breast pain or weight gain; 45% -50% of patients have symptoms of hypoglycemia, and about 35% of patients have symptoms of depression accompanied by consciousness. The cause of pre syndrome is currently unclear, but it is related to factors such as psychosocial factors, endocrine factors, brain neurotransmission, the role of prostaglandins, and insufficient vitamin B6.
