There are five major factors that can cause ovarian cancer, and seven aspects of clever prevention
Ovarian cancer is a disease that we are familiar with and fear, and it is also a high-risk nausea tumor. Especially in understanding its causes, it is necessary to prevent it correctly through reasonable lifestyle habits in daily life.
Etiology of ovarian cancer
1. Familial inheritance
Research has shown that a family history of ovarian cancer is a high-risk factor for the occurrence of ovarian cancer. Patients who develop ovarian cancer before the age of 50 often have a family history of ovarian cancer. Women with a family history of ovarian cancer have a significantly increased risk of developing ovarian cancer before the age of 70. Some patients have ovarian cancer inherited by their parents' special genetic genes (BRCA1/BRCA2 genes). Due to the structural and functional abnormalities of these genes, carriers have a much higher risk of developing ovarian cancer than the general population.
2. Reproductive factors
Research has shown that there may be two possible mechanisms for the pathogenesis of ovarian cancer. One is that chronic periodic damage and repair of the ovarian epithelium are related to the occurrence of ovarian cancer, and the other is that high levels of gonadotropins increase estrogen levels in the body, stimulating the proliferation and malignancy of the ovarian epithelium.
3. Lifestyle
Research has found that the incidence of ovarian cancer is related to diet. Salted meat products, pickles, spoiled vegetables, meat, etc. contain nitrite. Nitrite itself is not carcinogenic, but under certain conditions, it can decompose with amino acids and generate strong carcinogenic nitrosamines.
4. Environmental and occupational factors
The study found that with the aggravation of environmental pollution, the incidence rate of ovarian cancer increased significantly. The incidence rate of ovarian cancer of painters and asbestos workers is higher than that of workers in other industries. Exposure to organic dust and aromatic hydrocarbon chemicals will increase the risk of cancer, among which asbestos is recognized as a carcinogen.
5. Mental factors
Research has found that depression, sadness, longing, loneliness, depression, disgust, inferiority complex, self blame, guilt, interpersonal tension, mental breakdown, boredom, and other factors significantly increase the risk of ovarian cancer. Bright, optimistic, and active individuals have the lowest risk, and negative emotions suppress immune system function and weaken the body's ability to fight cancer.
6. Other factors
Factors such as X-ray irradiation, viral infections (such as mumps and colds), racial differences, dietary habits (such as excessive animal fat intake), and chemical factors are all related to the onset of ovarian cancer.
