Causes of male infertility
Varicocele
This situation can seriously affect the blood supply to the testes, thereby affecting the spermatogenic function of the testes, and can lead to a significant decrease or even disappearance of sperm. Timely surgery or medication treatment (mild cases) is expected to restore fertility in most patients.
Local testicular hyperthermia
Frequent and prolonged hot baths, saunas, or other factors that cause testicular temperature increases can affect sperm production, but such situations are mostly caused by oligospermia or excessive sperm death. Avoid all factors that increase testicular temperature.
Long term smoking
The harmful components in tobacco can enter the reproductive system through blood circulation, directly or indirectly causing toxic effects, which have a negative impact on various indicators of semen, especially the percentage of sperm forward movement and sperm morphology. Due to the combined effects of nicotine and other alkaloids in tobacco, cadmium, as well as oxidative damage caused by smoking, increased vulnerability of sperm cells to damage, and decreased self-repair ability, male smoking may also cause sperm distortion.
Kind reminder: Male infertility is a headache for many men, which not only makes them lose face, but also makes them unable to hold their heads up in front of their loved ones, family, and friends. We need to choose the correct method to treat male infertility and not blindly avoid the trap of treating infertility to solve the problem of male infertility.
