Don't sleep more than 9 hours. Men who love to sleep too late have a high probability of infertility
The Daily Telegraph website reported on October 19:
A survey of nearly 700 couples found that if men usually sleep more than 9 hours, they will reduce the probability of pregnancy of their female partners by 42%.
The research report released by the American Society of Reproductive Medicine on the 19th also found that compared with men who sleep 8 hours a night, men who sleep less than 6 hours a night have a 43% lower probability of pregnancy for women.
The above findings show that sleeping for 7 to 9 hours at night is the most ideal for the fertility rate of men. The pregnancy rate is the average probability that a woman will become pregnant during the menstrual cycle.
The new study also takes into account known factors that damage sperm quality, including age, smoking level, unemployment and depression.
In the past, medical knowledge was scarce. It was all women's fault to say that children could not be born. However, women at that time suffered. Fortunately, most people now know that it is not only women's business to have children. Some data show that the proportion of men in infertile patients has exceeded that of women.
What are the common causes of male infertility
Sperm abnormality. The so-called sperm abnormality refers to low sperm volume, azoospermia, low sperm vitality or abnormal sperm. Men with these problems have difficulty in combining their sperm with their partner's eggs.
Varicocele. It refers to the expansion of veins in the male scrotum, similar to varicose veins in other parts of the body. It will increase the temperature in the testicle, which will affect the production of sperm and lead to male infertility.
The vas deferens is blocked. If the vas deferens are blocked, resulting in sperm failure to output normally, it will inevitably affect the combination of sperm and eggs, thus affecting pregnancy.
Sexual dysfunction. Men's impotence, premature ejaculation and non-ejaculation will make men unable to complete sexual activities normally, so it is also an important reason for male infertility.
Systemic diseases. Common problems such as excessive nerve pressure, malnutrition and environmental factors, as well as men's own congenital gonadal dysgenesis and reproductive incompetence syndrome may also lead to infertility.
If a male friend unfortunately finds out that he has these problems mentioned above, it is better to pay attention to them and seek the help of a doctor in time. Don't be afraid of the doctor, so as not to cause infertility in the future due to untimely treatment; If infertility has occurred, we should actively seek medical treatment.
