Acupoint massage for dysmenorrhea
1. Guanyuan acupoint and Qihai acupoint in the lower abdomen are effective acupoints for treating gynecological diseases such as dysmenorrhea. Guanyuan acupoint is 3 inches below the navel, and Qihai acupoint is about 1.5 inches below the navel. During dysmenorrhea, you can use both thumbs to press these two acupoints, or you can use your spare hot water bag and electric hot compress at home to relieve the pain.
2. Hand HéGŭ L.I. 4 is an effective point for relieving dysmenorrhea. Especially suitable for use in public places such as learning, meetings, and workplaces. HéGŭ L.I. 4 is the first point to relieve pain. It will hurt if you press it here when you have dysmenorrhea. When selecting an acupoint, the area where the thumb and other four fingers are placed together, and the muscles on the back of the thumb and index finger are raised (causing slight pain).
