Can acute prostatitis become chronic if not treated well? What conditions can cause prostate congestion
Although there is a certain understanding of the pathogenesis of chronic prostatitis, there is no breakthrough due to the complexity of its etiology.
Can prostatitis be cured? At present, it is believed that chronic prostatitis may be caused by primary or secondary diseases of the prostate and its surrounding tissues, organs, muscles and nerves. Even after these diseases have been cured or completely eradicated, their injury and pathological changes are still independent and continuous. The center of its etiology may be the joint effect of infection, inflammation and abnormal pelvic floor neuromuscular activity.
Can prostatitis be cured? Hyperemia, especially passive hyperemia, is an important pathogenic factor of prostatitis. The incidence rate of patients is usually caused not by bacterial infection or microbial invasion, but by inflammatory reaction and prostatitis. Congestion caused by life is very common:
Directly oppress the perineum.
Cycling, horseback riding and sitting for a long time can lead to repeated perineal injury and prostate congestion, especially long time cycling.
2 Healthy lifestyle.
According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, bad living habits such as excessive drinking and gluttonous eating of greasy food easily lead to endogenous damp and heat, which accumulate in the reproductive organs, make them congest and cause sexual excitement.
3. Massage is too heavy.
External stimulation caused by improper prostate massage and other medical behaviors, such as excessive or too frequent, can make the prostate hyperemia.
4. Abnormal sexual life.
Excessive sexual life, forced interruption of sexual intercourse or excessive masturbation can lead to abnormal hyperemia of the prostate. But excessive sexual life can also produce long-term automatic excitement, leading to passive congestion.
5. A cold.
A cold can cause the sympathetic nerve of the human body to be excited, lead to the increase of the internal pressure of the urethra, the contraction of the prostate tube, hinder the excretion of prostate fluid, and produce stasis congestion.
Many patients with chronic prostatitis are actually caused by acute prostatitis. Experts say that incomplete treatment of acute prostatitis may lead to bacterial transmission, chronic prostatitis, and even various urinary system infections.
