Sexual Health
Why should we pay attention to the six factors that can easily cause endometrial polyps
Endometrial polyps are a familiar gynecological disease that also occurs in our daily lives. The causes are also multifaceted, and we must pay attention to reasonable prevention in our daily lives.
Causes of endometrial polyps
1. Chronic inflammation long-term stimulation: Chronic inflammation long-term stimulation promotes excessive proliferation of the cervical mucosa, and the uterus tends to eliminate foreign objects. The proliferative mucosa gradually protrudes from the base of the cervix to form polyps.
2. Various surgical infections: childbirth, miscarriage, postpartum infections, surgical procedures or mechanical stimulation, cervical injury during sexual intercourse, and pathogen invasion infections.
3. Treatment ineffective: Some patients have endometrial polyps of more than one size. During surgery, only large polyps visible to the naked eye, small polyps invisible to the eyes, or polyps hidden deep in the cervical canal are removed. Then, these small polyps that leak through the net gradually grow and grow outside the cervix opening
4. Not paying attention to personal hygiene: Women who do not pay attention to personal hygiene are prone to gynecological inflammation such as vaginitis and cervicitis. These inflammations can stimulate the cervix of women, leading to the occurrence of endometrial polyps. Therefore, female friends must pay attention to personal hygiene and actively prevent the occurrence of gynecological diseases.
5. Unclean sexual activity: Both men and women do not clean their reproductive organs before sexual activity, which can easily introduce pathogenic bacteria into the female vagina during sexual intercourse, causing the occurrence of endometrial polyps.
6. Endocrine disorders: Endometrial polyps are associated with high levels of estrogen, which promotes the development of the vagina, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries themselves, while endometrial hyperplasia produces menstruation. The endometrium is only stimulated by estrogen, and the effect of pregnancy hormones is insufficient. The endometrium has unrestricted growth and is prone to producing polyps.
Prevention of endometrial polyps
1. Persist in participating in sports in daily life, improve personal physique, and enhance human immunity.
2. Pay attention to personal hygiene, including hygiene during physiological days, ensure the cleanliness of the external genitalia on a daily basis, and wear more breathable underwear such as cotton.
3. Maintain a cheerful and optimistic attitude towards life, and adjust personal negative emotions in a timely manner.
4. Take contraceptive pills according to the instructions, ensuring proper contraception while maintaining health.
5. Regularly visit a gynecological hospital for examination, emphasizing itching of the vulva, increased vaginal mist, or regular examination after gynecological surgery to avoid delays in treatment and the risk of recurrence.
