Why does it bleed for the first time? Which men are prone to bleeding during their first sexual intercourse
As is well known, women may experience bleeding and pain during their first sexual intercourse due to hymen rupture. But for men, these situations will not occur and it should be a problem for women. In fact, men can also experience bleeding during their first sexual intercourse. Let's see why men bleed for the first time.
When they describe their condition, they often hesitate for a long time: Doctor, there is bleeding below. After inquiring about medical history and examination, most bleeding patients are men who have had sexual intercourse for the first time. Their bleeding is caused by the rupture of the frenulum of the foreskin during sexual intercourse and can usually be cured through simple sutures. Due to the relatively unique location of bleeding, it often causes great psychological panic for men.
Perhaps many men want to know why they bleed? But in clinical medicine, it is common for men to experience trauma and bleeding after sexual intercourse, especially for men who have had sex for the first time. They have less sexual experience and often engage in sexual activity in women with insufficient vaginal lubrication. At this time, if they work too hard, there will be trauma.
So, which men are prone to bleeding during their first sexual intercourse?
1. Foreskin overgrowth
If the male foreskin is too long, accompanied by glans, foreskin eczema, and inflammation, it is most likely to bleed during sexual intercourse.
2. Phimosis patients
In addition, in patients with phimosis, due to the tight foreskin, the glans penis cannot be exposed during erection, which can easily cause tearing of the foreskin during sexual intercourse, leading to bleeding.
3. Frenulum of short foreskin
There are also some men who are born with shorter foreskin frenulum. Erections not only cause pain, but also cause curvature of the glans, making sexual intercourse prone to laceration and bleeding, and even affecting normal sexual intercourse. They need to go to the hospital for surgical correction.
Don't panic when facing the first bleeding. Traumatic bleeding after sexual intercourse in males is generally not excessive. The bleeding can be directly compressed with a clean tissue or towel. After 20 minutes, the bleeding can stop on its own. But in order to understand the true cause and avoid unnecessary sequelae, it is best to go to the hospital for examination.
In addition to the factors that cause sexual bleeding mentioned above, hemospermia (bloody semen) usually occurs in men who have frequent sexual activity. The common causes of hemospermia include seminal vesiculitis, Prostatitis, prostatic hyperplasia, etc. Other rare causes include urinary tract tuberculosis, prostate tumors, seminal vesicle tumors, or congenital abnormal opening of the ureter. Most diseases of hemospermia are benign. Don't worry too much, but don't be too careless. You still need to go to the hospital for examination.
The first bleeding is not exclusive to women. When facing the first episode of bleeding, men should not be careless, do not panic, seek medical attention in a timely manner, identify the cause, and seek treatment.
