What is the safety period? What are the errors in the calculation during the safety period
The birth of new life begins with the combination of sperm and eggs, and in order to achieve contraceptive effects, it is necessary to find ways to prevent their meeting. The strategy adopted for safe period contraception is to calculate the appearance time and possible fertilization time of the egg, and to allow the sperm to avoid these times before coming out for activity.
When is the safety period
From the perspective of contraception, a woman's menstrual cycle can be divided into menstrual period, ovulation period, and safe period. Generally speaking, the ovaries of women of normal reproductive age only produce one egg per month. After ovulation, the egg can survive for 1-2 days, while sperm can survive for 2-3 days in the female reproductive tract. The fertilization ability is mostly within 24 hours after ovulation, and after 2-3 days, sperm loses the ability to bind to the egg. Therefore, sexual intercourse 2-3 days before ovulation and 1-2 days after ovulation has the possibility of pregnancy, which is referred to as a period of easy pregnancy and danger. The ovulation period of women is generally around 14 days before the onset of the second menstrual cycle.
For insurance purposes, a total of 10 consecutive days of ovulation, including the first 5 days and the last 4 days, are referred to as ovulation days, while the remaining time outside the physiological cycle is referred to as the safe period. The safety period is divided into pre ovulation safety period and post ovulation safety period. The safe period before ovulation is from the day when menstruation is clean to the day before ovulation. The safe period after ovulation is from the first day after the end of the ovulation period to the day before the next menstrual cycle.
Misunderstandings in the calculation of safety period
1. Secure Computing Method Security
It should be noted that these safety period calculation methods are only theoretical calculations, but they are not the correct algorithms. Ovulation is also related to women's nutrient absorption, their own emotions, and mental factors, so the safe period is not absolute safety.
2. The first seven and last eight are very accurate
The first seven to eight is a folk saying, which is only a common pattern for women's menstrual cycle. However, some people have long cycles, some have short cycles, and some have no patterns, so this algorithm varies from person to person.
3. Menstrual safety
Women who engage in intimate behavior during menstruation are safe. Indeed, without ovulation during menstruation, even with sperm, it is difficult to conceive, which is safe for two people who are using contraception. However, for women themselves, engaging in sexual activity during menstruation is very dangerous. During menstruation, women's reproductive environment is much more fragile than usual. Once sexual activity occurs, external bacteria are brought into the body, causing gynecological inflammation. In addition, during the intimate process, women experience menstrual blood reflux, which is how endometriosis occurs. Therefore, menstruation is not at all safe.
