Types of amenorrhea
1. Uterine amenorrhea: the amenorrhea caused by uterine dysplasia is often the future trend of menstruation and the delay of menarche for those over the age of 18 years, with less menstrual volume and amenorrhea.
2. Pituitary amenorrhea: amenorrhea caused by pituitary tumor is accompanied by headache, unclear vision, necrosis of the anterior pituitary gland, amenorrhea, and massive postpartum hemorrhage, which is manifested by hypolibido, genital atrophy, weakness and fear of cold, hair loss and other symptoms.
3. Ovarian amenorrhea: amenorrhea caused by ovarian dysfunction is often associated with vaginal dryness, sexual difficulties or infertility. The amenorrhea caused by premature ovarian failure is characterized by amenorrhea before the age of 40. The amenorrhea of polycystic ovary syndrome with menopausal symptoms such as facial dampness, sweating and dryness can be characterized by obesity, hirsutism, infertility, etc.
4. Hypothalamic amenorrhea: amenorrhea occurs suddenly after mental trauma, excessive stress, malnutrition and severe oral contraceptives.
Manifestation of amenorrhea
1. Decreased sexual desire: women's sexual desire is caused by estrogen. The secretion of estrogen in women with amenorrhea decreases, and women's sexual desire also decreases relatively. In serious cases, they may not want to live together.
2. Obesity and sparse axillary hair: the estrogen in women with amenorrhea decreases. At this time, the female pubic hair and axillary hair may fall off, and the female body will also become happy.
3. Skin dullness and vaginal dryness: women with amenorrhea have dry vagina, and their skin turns yellow and dull, which is caused by too little estrogen in women.
4. The patient has symptoms of fatigue, anorexia, and weight loss due to insufficient secretion of adrenocortical hormone.
5. Due to the insufficient secretion of thyroid hormone, the patients have common symptoms such as fear of cold, pale, dry, slow heartbeat, low blood pressure, slow response, etc.
Methods of amenorrhea examination
1. Uterine examination
(1) Hysteroscopy: to know whether the depth, width, shape of the lumen are abnormal, adhesion, and pathological changes of the endometrium.
(2) Laparoscopic examination: look directly at the appearance of the uterus and gonads, and accept ovarian biopsy if necessary, except for congenital dysplasia.
(3) Uterine axis and oviduct lipiodol radiography: understand the shape of uterine cavity, whether there is any abnormality, and the oviduct is unblocked, except for tuberculosis.
