What is the difference between phimosis and foreskin? What is the effect of not cutting phimosis
The foreskin and foreskin are different diseases, but many men do not understand the specific differences between foreskin and foreskin, and are always confused.
The difference between phimosis and foreskin
1. The difference between phimosis and foreskin is different in concept
Long skin refers to that when a man becomes an adult, the penis skin covers the glans, making the glans not completely exposed. It can be divided into true foreskin and false foreskin. The true foreskin is too long, which means that the penis can not be completely exposed after erection. The false foreskin is too long, which means that the penis can not be completely exposed at ordinary times, but the penis can be completely exposed after erection. Phimosis means that the foreskin completely covers the glans, and the glans cannot be exposed at any time.
2. Different symptoms of phimosis and foreskin
The symptoms of overlong prepuce are glans, small mouth urination, prepuce turnover, and the prepuce can no longer fall. The prepuce mouth is narrow like a pinhole, and the prepuce expands like a ball during urination, and the urine is not smooth. Because of phimosis, urethral stricture and contraction of bladder sphincter during urination.
3. The difference between phimosis and phimosis
Phimosis is more harmful than phimosis. The male foreskin is too long, and the secretion of sebaceous glands in the foreskin cannot be discharged. The sebum and sediment in the urine synthesize cheese-like and smelly foreskin scale. There are a lot of bacteria hidden in the foreskin scale, which is easy to cause male glans and foreskin inflammation after long-term stimulation.
4. How to distinguish between long prepuce and phimosis
The prepuce is too long, which means that the prepuce cover has no urethral orifice, but can open the urethral orifice and penis head. If the foreskin of children is too long, pay attention to local cleaning and sanitation. Wash the foreskin dirt often or every day to prevent penis inflammation.
Phimosis refers to the narrow opening of the foreskin of the penis, and the foreskin cannot be turned over to expose the penis head. Generally, there are two types: congenital and acquired. Congenital phimosis refers to the adhesion between the foreskin and the head of the penis when the baby is born. After several months, the adhesion is gradually absorbed, and the foreskin and the head of the penis are separated.
The separation of prepuce and penis head in most boys can continue until puberty. With the development and erection of the penis, the prepuce can shrink upward and turn outward to reveal the penis head. For children with phimosis, due to the accumulation of secretions under the foreskin, often stimulating the mucous membrane will cause penile foreskin inflammation.
How to treat redundant prepuce
1. Medical care
① Generally, without inflammation.
② Use drugs when inflammation occurs.
③ After circumcision, anti-inflammatory drugs should be used, such as compound sulfamethoxazole tablets, 2 tablets per time, 2 times a day, oral. Norfloxacin tablets, 0.1g each time, 3 times a day, in order to prevent inflammation of prepuce wound,
2. Analgesics
For example, properly take Qutong tablets and Suomitong tablets to reduce the pain of prepuce wounds.
3. Estrogens
Apply it on the day of operation or within 2-3 days after operation, such as ethyl phenol, 1-2 mg each time, 3 times a day, orally. Or estradiol valerate, 5~10 mg each time, injected 1~2 times a few days after the operation, can reduce the chance of penis erection, reduce the degree of penis erection, and prevent the bleeding of prepuce operation caused by penis erection.
Self-correction of redundant prepuce
1. Upward vertical fixation
Turn over the foreskin every day to expose most of the glans, and fix the foreskin longitudinally with adhesive tape to keep the glans in a semi-exposed state. Replace the tape once a day, and the foreskin will shorten itself in 2-3 months, and the glans will show a lot. This method should be used with caution for people with skin allergy.
2. Upturning prepuce method
The prepuce shall be turned over to the coronary groove as much as possible, and the prepuce shall be often turned over, and the prepuce opening shall be extended and shortened for a long time. Especially after puberty, the growth of prepuce is slower than that of penis. The prepuce often expands with penis erection, naturally shortens, and the glans is exposed.
3. Tight leggings fixation method
Customize appropriate tight-fitting bottoms, punch holes in the appropriate part, make two elastic bottoms at the hole edge, nail the buttons at both ends of the bottoms, fix the foreskin in the upturned state, and be bound by the elastic bottoms. Use it before going to bed every night.
4. Simple penis clamp fixation method
Four cotton swabs and silicone rubber tubes are used, each two are connected side by side, and the two ends are connected with rubber rings, that is, penis clips. After circumcision, fix the penis clip at the root of the penis to keep the prepuce in the inverted state. Pay attention to the penis clip not to be too tight, and it is best not to restore the circumcision. There are tapes before going to bed every night.
