What is the diagnosis and treatment of urethritis? How to prevent urethritis in daily life
The typical symptoms of urethritis are redness and swelling of the urethra mouth, stabbing pain, etc., but these symptoms are not unique. Other diseases also have this disease, mainly reproductive infections. Therefore, men should pay attention to this point, not only to timely diagnosis, but also to identify other diseases.
1. Urethritis and gonorrhea urethritis. Gonorrhea urethritis is a more serious disease. Gonorrhea urethritis is a sexually transmitted disease with specific infection. There is purulent secretion in the urethra, and Gram-negative diplococcus is found in the granulocyte of lobulated nucleus by pus coating staining. Secondly, unlike non-gonococcal urethritis and trichomonal urethritis, women are easy to find trichomonas in the vagina, but men are difficult to find trichomonas. They need to check whether trichomonas exist in the secretion of the prepuce, urethral orifice, prostate fluid and urine. In addition to urethritis, there are also conjunctivitis and arthritis.
2. How to treat urethritis. The treatment of urethritis depends on the situation, and the treatment of acute and chronic diseases is different. The combination of antibiotics and chemical drugs is often used in acute urethritis. Attention should be paid to rest and enough fluids should be replenished during systemic treatment. During the acute period, sexual life must be avoided in the short term. Otherwise, the course of disease will be prolonged during the chronic period. Urethral dilation must be performed when the external urethral orifice and internal urethral stricture occur. The patient has urinary tract irritation syndrome, and routine antibiotic treatment is ineffective. In addition to complex factors, mycoplasma, chlamydia or virus infection should be considered, and tetracycline can be used first. If tetracycline is resistant, it can be changed to erythromycin, methylerythromycin, roxithromycin, etc. The above drugs are effective against mycoplasma and chlamydia. If the above treatment is still ineffective, it may be acute urethral syndrome.
Therefore, the symptoms of urethritis are obvious, but in order not to be confused with other diseases, we must invite an experienced doctor to treat immediately, and select appropriate drugs according to the patient's disease and physical condition.
Men drink more water to stop urination, which can prevent urinary tract infection
Men are vulnerable to diseases, especially in hot summer, and often suffer from urinary tract infections, such as urethritis. How should we prevent andrology diseases and ensure their health? Experts said that men should develop the good habit of drinking more water and urinating less.
Many men do not drink water at ordinary times and think of drinking water when they are thirsty. When you are busy, you can't pay attention to anything. Not only do you not drink water, but also you have the habit of holding urine, which is easy to let bacteria "invade" the urethra. At the same time, there are many other details of life, such as swimming in the swimming pool that is not thoroughly disinfected to relieve the heat, people living in collective dormitories do not dry their underwear in the ventilated and sunny places, and do not have the habit of washing hands before urinating, which will increase the chance of male urinary tract infection. In summer, people's "sexual arousal" is usually high, but frequent married life will make men too tired and reduce their resistance. The decline of resistance is the basis of urinary tract infection.
