What is Bleeding After Female Sexual Activity? Several Factors of Female Sexual Bleeding
Sexual activity is an important way to promote marital relationships and also an important behavior for both spouses to reproduce. However, during sexual activity, many people may experience certain problems, and for women, bleeding after sexual intercourse is the biggest type of problem. This problem generally indicates some gynecological diseases, such as Cervical cancer, cervical polyps, cervical erosion, Vaginitis, submucous myoma of uterus, etc.
Cervical cancer
Sexual bleeding is often a danger signal for early cervical cancer, with a small amount of bleeding and a bright red color. However, if it is early cervical cancer, there may be an increase in bleeding and even blood clots flowing out. This is due to the erosion and fragility of the cancerous cervical cell tissue, as well as the good blood supply to the affected area. Therefore, when the cervix is directly impacted, it will rupture and cause bleeding.
Cervical polyp
Cervical polyp are mostly tongue shaped, about the size of sunflower seeds, often protruding out of the mouth of the cervix, single or multiple, soft, bright red. The top tissue of the polyp is loose and rich in blood vessels. When edema, gangrene and infection occur in some polyps, their appearance is similar to that of early cervical cancer, which is easy to cause sexual bleeding. Cervical polyp are generally benign lesions with few malignant changes. Therefore, the diagnosis and treatment of Cervical polyp cannot be ignored.
Cervical erosion
Cervical erosion is the most common manifestation of chronic Cervicitis. The cells in the cervical erosion area are easy to fall off and become thin, so some cervical erosion can also cause sexual bleeding, especially in patients with moderate and severe cervical erosion. Modern medical research has proven that the occurrence of cervical cancer is closely related to cervical erosion, so necessary treatment measures should be taken to prevent cervical cancer.
Vaginitis
Common are Trichomoniasis and mycotic Vaginitis. Due to the invasion of pathogens such as trichomonas or fungi on the vaginal wall and cervical tissue, it manifests as high edema. The vaginal wall of Trichomoniasis can be seen with scattered bleeding spots or strawberry like protrusions; The vaginal wall of mycotic Vaginitis is erosive or superficial ulcer. In addition, postmenopausal elderly women are prone to bacterial infection and senile Vaginitis, with edema and scattered small bleeding spots on the vaginal wall and cervical surface, or ulcer formation. This kind of sexual intercourse bleeding is often accompanied by Dyspareunia.
