What are the types of uterine dysplasia? There are 8 signs indicating abnormal uterine development
The uterus is an important organ in the female body, and the abnormal development of the uterus is one of them. The impact on women is also very serious, and we must pay attention to it.
Symptoms of uterine dysplasia
1. The situation of female infertility: This situation is generally caused by problems such as uterus, primordial uterus and childish uterus, which is one of the main reasons for female infertility.
2. Abnormal menstruation in women: patients with congenital or primordial uterus have no menstruation. The patients with infantile uterus have no menstruation, and the patients with double uterus and double horn uterus who have too little menstruation, delayed menstruation, dysmenorrhea, irregular physiological days, etc. may have excessive menstruation, and the duration of physiological days may be prolonged.
3. The situation of childbirth and postpartum: Generally, women can have dystocia or even uterine rupture due to abnormal labor force and difficulty in cervical dilatation during childbirth. In some cases, there may be placenta retention, postpartum hemorrhage or postpartum infection during vaginal delivery.
4. Pathological pregnancy: there are many miscarriages, premature delivery and abnormal fetal position after pregnancy. Occasionally, spontaneous uterine rupture during pregnancy occurs. If the fallopian tube of the residual horn uterus is unobstructed, the pregnant egg can be implanted into the residual horn uterus, but the myometrium of the uterus is poorly developed, and the pregnancy is broken, and the symptoms are the same as those of ectopic pregnancy.
Types of uterine dysplasia
1. Congenital absence of uterus: the middle part of the accessory mesonephric duct on both sides is not developed and cannot synthesize uterus. The patient often has no vagina, but the ovarian development is normal, and the secondary sex sign is not affected.
2. Primordial uterus: also known as trace uterus. This is because the development of the accessory mesonephric ducts on both sides stops soon after they merge. This uterus is small, only 1~3cm long, has no endometrium, no menstruation, and is often combined with no vagina.
3. Mediastinal uterus: the accessory mesonephric ducts on both sides are closed, but the mediastinum is not degenerated. The uterus is normal in shape, with two parts of the septum. If the mediastinum is not completely degenerated, the incomplete mediastinal uterus will be formed. When the mediastinum extends to the vagina, it can form the vaginal mediastinum at the same time.
4. Dysplasia of uterus: also known as infantile uterus. The development of the accessory mesonephric ducts on both sides stopped within a short time after merging. The cervix is relatively long, the outer opening of the cervix is small, and the uterus is normal and small. There are often infertility, menorrhagia or irregular menstruation.
5. Double horn uterus: most of the ends of the accessory mesonephric tube are fused, the mediastinum degenerates, forming a single cervix and a single vagina, the bottom of the uterus is incomplete, and the outside of the uterus forms a double horn, so it is called double horn uterus or saddle uterus.
