What are the symptoms of genital warts? How can genital warts be treated without recurrence
Condyloma acuminatum is widely recognized as a sexually transmitted disease and is also the most common sexually transmitted disease in today's society. It is highly infectious and has a high incidence rate. Once it is harmed, it will harm others and itself. The prevention of genital warts is actually very simple. As long as you pay more attention to the details of life, you can effectively prevent it.
What are the symptoms of genital warts?
1. Initial symptoms
The moist areas of the skin and mucosa near the external genitalia and anus are several areas where genital warts are more common. Male genital warts are more common in the frenulum, coronal sulcus, foreskin, urethra, penis, perianal area, and scrotum, while female genital warts are more common in the labia minora, vaginal opening, clitoris, vagina, cervix, perineum, and perianal area. In the early stage of genital warts, patients do not experience pain or itching, appearing as small reddish rashes or miliary sized vegetation, with a soft nature and a slightly pointed tip.
2. Symptoms during the onset period
As the condition of genital warts continues to develop, the warts gradually grow and increase, developing into papillary or cystic shapes, with a slightly wider or banded base and particles on the surface. Warts that are damp, hot, and moist are often filamentous or papillary in shape, and can easily melt into large chunks. Genital warts of the anus often appear cauliflower like, with a moist or bleeding surface, and often accumulate pus between particles, emitting a strange odor. After scratching, they can be secondary infected. Genital warts in dry areas with low humidity are smaller and appear as flat warts.
3. Late symptoms
In the later stage, warts will merge into various forms, with uneven surfaces, papillary, cauliflower like, and chicken crowns that are moist and soft. The roots are often pedunculated, making them prone to erosion, exudation, and other conditions. There are also deposits of purulent secretions that can emit a foul odor. Under the immersion of secretions, the surface of the wart body is mostly white, dark gray, or red, which is prone to bleeding. Cervical condyloma acuminatum is generally small, with a clear state, smooth or granular surface, and no typical papillary shape.
