Genital herpes caused by herpes simplex virus (HSV) sexually transmitted diseases are mainly HSV-2 caused by sexually transmitted diseases, and a few are HSV-1. It is one of the common sexually transmitted diseases. Genital herpes can recur, which has a great impact on the health and psychology of patients; Newborns can also be infected through placenta and birth canal, resulting in congenital infection. Therefore, the disease is also one of the more serious public health problems, and attention should be paid to its effective prevention and control.
What are the symptoms of genital herpes infection?
Glans, coronal sulcus, urethral orifice, penis, scrotum, thigh and arm. Most male patients have bilateral inguinal lymph nodes enlarged. The clinical manifestations of genital herpes can be divided into primary and recurrent. Primary disease refers to the first infection of virus. Generally speaking, it takes about 2 to 10 days from exposure to the disease, that is, incubation period. The disease site has a burning sensation, and 3 to 10 clusters of red papules rapidly appear on the basis of erythema. With pruritus, the papule quickly turns into small blisters, and becomes an abscess 3~5 days later. After rupture, it forms a large area of erosion and ulcers, which is painful, and finally scabs and heals. The whole process can be renewed for about 20 days. In men, it is common in glans, coronal groove, urethral orifice, penis, scrotum, thigh and arm. When later inflammation affects the urethra and bladder, dysuria, dysuria, frequency of urination, and urinary retention may occur. In addition, other symptoms may occur, such as fever, general discomfort, headache, neck stiffness, meningitis and dysfunction of the sacral nervous system.
treatment
Antiviral drug treatment can be appropriately adjusted according to the Guidelines for Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases issued by the STD Control Center of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2006. In addition, we should also cooperate with psychotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine treatment.
1、 Antiviral therapy such as acyclovir, valaciclovir and famciclovir can reduce symptoms, shorten the course of disease and reduce detoxification in the treatment of genital herpes.
2、 Local treatment keeps the affected area clean and dry. 3% acyclovir cream, 1% acyclovir cream, acyclovir cream, phthalbutamine cream, etc. In case of secondary bacterial infection, antibiotics should be used.
3. Patients with recurrent genital herpes often suffer from fatigue and psychological anxiety. Therefore, in addition to active antiviral treatment, some traditional Chinese medicines, such as Shenling Baizhu Powder, Zhibai Dihuang Pill, can be given to some patients.
