Gonorrhea symptoms such as acute urethritis
After suffering from gonorrhea, the main symptoms are acute urethritis. Male patients generally develop symptoms around 3-5 days after infection. During urination, patients feel pain in the urethra like acupuncture, frequent urination, urgency, inability to urinate, and even blood in the urine. After 3 to 4 days, chartreuse and purulent secretions were discharged from the urethral orifice. The female urethra is shorter and thicker than the male urethra, and the reaction after gonorrhea is not obvious, only purulent secretion flows out from the vagina. Acute gonorrhea can manifest as acute urethritis or acute vestibular gland inflammation, redness and swelling of the urethral opening, redness and swelling of the vestibular gland, pain, purulent discharge, burning pain of the external genitalia, painful urination, and urgency of urination (but with milder symptoms than in males).
