What are the four causes of vaginal relaxation? What are the effects of vaginal relaxation on the body
I believe many postpartum women experience this feeling. After giving birth, they feel that their vagina has become loose, their husband is not happy, they are not happy, their sexual life cannot be satisfied, and even affect their relationship and family harmony. Many women are troubled by this, so what should be done when the vagina relaxes and loosens?
Let's first understand the reasons for vaginal relaxation:
1. Elastic fiber damage
Experts from domestic and foreign medical schools have pointed out that the elasticity of the vagina is determined by "elastic fibers". The rupture of "elastic fibers" in patients with vaginal relaxation, causing damage to the vaginal elastic fiber network, is the main cause of vaginal relaxation.
2. Pregnancy and childbirth
During delivery, due to the fetal head entering the pelvis, it compresses the muscles and fascia of the pelvic floor and related supporting structures, as well as the various ligaments supporting the uterus, which are also subjected to significant traction. Especially in the case of slow and smooth labor pauses, prolonged compression of the fetal head, combined with the use of forceps or fetal head absorbers for delivery, often leads to tearing of the muscles and fascia of the pelvic floor, causing the supporting ligaments to become loose. For mothers who give birth naturally, due to the fact that the fetus is delivered through the vagina, the diameter of the head of an ordinary baby is about 10 centimeters, which means that the vagina needs to expand to 10 centimeters during delivery (the normal vaginal diameter is 2.5 centimeters). After the baby is born, the vagina expands significantly, muscle and hymen scars are completely destroyed, and elasticity is significantly reduced. But although there are changes in the vagina of the mother who delivers the fetus from the vagina, there will be varying levels of vaginal relaxation. But it does not mean that natural childbirth is the culprit causing vaginal relaxation, as the mother's pelvic muscles and ligaments are fully extended during labor, preparing the birth canal for the baby's birth. So even mothers who undergo cesarean section may experience vaginal relaxation.
3. Disease population
People with chronic diseases, weak constitution, and weight loss. Their muscles, fascia, ligaments, and other structures are also relatively loose, which exacerbates vaginal relaxation.
4. Age growth
As women age, their estrogen levels also decrease, leading to deformation of the supporting structures (muscles, ligaments, etc.) of the vagina. Muscle tension decreases, and the fascia is not as thick as it was when they were young. Additionally, mucosal atrophy can also occur, making the condition of relaxation more severe.
