Impotence, also known as "impotence", is the most common disease of male sexual dysfunction. According to data, 60% of the total number of divorce cases in China are due to the disharmonious sexual life of couples. According to foreign statistics, impotence patients account for 37%~42% of all male sexual dysfunction. Relevant domestic surveys show that about 10% of adult males have impotence. The incidence of impotence increases with age. After the age of 50, many men will have impotence, and the incidence of impotence will reach the peak in 65~70.
"Impotence" is not the standard for judging physical strength
Some men think that "I have always been strong, without any pain, nor any experience of misbehavior". How can I be "impotent"? This shows that these men lack correct understanding of the causes of impotence. Tonifying the kidney should be based on the deficiency of kidney-yang and kidney-yin. If the opposite drugs are used, such as drugs for tonifying kidney yang deficiency in patients with kidney yin deficiency, the symptoms will worsen, such as body fever, dizziness, earache, throat swelling, etc. From the perspective of literary significance, the word "impotence" itself is easily misunderstood, so many scholars believe that the direct use of "erectile dysfunction" (English abbreviation "ED") is more suitable to describe this performance.
What is the cause of male impotence?
The etiology of impotence is complex, and the study of its pathological mechanism is gradually improving. The exact pathogenesis of impotence is not very clear. According to the causes of impotence, it can be divided into three categories: psychological, organic and medical.
1. Psychological (mental): psychological impotence accounts for about the total number of impotence. 85~90% are the most common reasons.
