What is endometrial cancer?
Endometrial carcinoma is a group of epithelial malignant tumors occurring in the endometrium and one of the three major malignant tumors of the female reproductive tract. Adenocarcinomas originating from endometrial glands are the most common.
The incidence of endometrial cancer accounts for 7% of the total malignant tumors of women and 20% - 30% of the malignant tumors of female reproductive tract. Endometrial carcinoma can be divided into two types: estrogen-dependent and non-estrogen-dependent.
Symptoms of endometrial cancer
1. Abnormal menstruation: the most common is irregular vaginal bleeding, which is more and less dripping and unclean immediately, and the amount of bleeding is not much at the beginning. With the development of the disease, the amount of bleeding will increase, but the amount of bleeding is rare. Patients without amenorrhea have increased menstruation, prolonged menstruation, more and less menstruation. Intermittent amenorrhea may have vaginal bleeding. Patients with irregular vaginal bleeding after amenorrhea in medicine are alert to the possibility of endometrial cancer.
2. Abnormal leucorrhea: a few people have more leucorrhea, and many phenomena. Early stage can be like pale blood water, and late stage infection may have pus and blood discharge, with stench.
3. Pain: Generally, endometrial cancer does not produce pain, but people at the end of the stage will invade nearby organs and nerves, and the tumor is large, causing compression symptoms, causing lower abdominal pain, waist, foot, foot and other pain.
4. In the late stage, emaciation and fever may occur, and general weakness, pallor and anemia may also occur, which we call cachexia.
Determination of endometrial carcinoma
The gynaecological examination of early endometrial cancer is normal, the uterus is significantly enlarged in the late stage, and there is obvious tenderness when combined with pus in the uterine cavity. Occasionally, cancer tissue falls off in the cervical canal, and it is easy to bleed when touched. When the cancer furnace infiltrates the surrounding tissues, the uterine fixation will conduct a secondary examination according to the above symptoms to confirm whether there are many endometrial cancer. Women should pay attention to the changes of menstruation at any time, and the characteristics of vaginal secretion. Once symptoms appear, We should go to the hospital early for examination.
Endometrial cancer examination
1. Medical history and clinical manifestations: patients with vaginal bleeding after amenorrhea, abnormal bleeding or discharge during amenorrhea must first eliminate endometrial cancer and cervical cancer and then deal with benign diseases. For patients with the following high-risk factors, special attention should be paid to (1) patients with high-risk factors for endometrial cancer, such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, infertility, and delayed amenorrhea (2) patients with a history of long-term use of estrogen, moxifen, or other estrogen increases (3) patients with a family history of breast cancer and endometrial cancer.
