What are the diagnostic methods for gonorrhea? Which diseases have similar symptoms to gonorrhea
Gonorrhea is a serious sexually transmitted disease that endangers people's bodies, and it usually occurs during sexual intercourse. Patients with this disease must seek timely medical treatment to avoid unnecessary consequences. However, we must know whether gonorrhea or non gonococcal Urethritis. In order to better understand one's condition, the editor introduces how to diagnose whether one is suffering from gonorrhea or pseudogonorrhea.
(1) Non gonococcal Urethritis also has a history of unclean sexual intercourse, but the incubation period is long (1-3 weeks), the symptoms are mild, the amount of urethral secretion is small, and it is serous or mucopurulent. Chlamydia trachomatis and ureaplasma urealyticum are the main pathogens, and a few are caused by trichomonas vaginalis, candida or Herpes simplex virus. E.coli can be seen in Gay men Urethritis patients. Neisseria gonorrhoeae test was negative.
(2) Non specific Urethritis refers to bacterial Urethritis unrelated to venereal diseases, such as urinary tract infection secondary to phimosis, or post injury infection secondary to urethral catheterization and other urethral instrument operations. Microscopic examination often shows Gram positive cocci.
(3) The main symptoms of Reiter syndrome are Urethritis, Conjunctivitis and arthritis. The incidence is related to HLA-B, and the main causes are Chlamydia trachomatis (sexually transmitted disease type) and Shigella flexneri (intestinal type). Occasionally, patients with gonococcal Urethritis are also accompanied by skin and mucous membrane damage such as pyorrheic Keratosis (mostly on palms and soles) and ring-shaped Balanitis.
The diseases that need to be identified for female gonorrhea include:
(1) Non gonococcal urogenital tract infection (also known as non-specific genital tract infection, NSGL) Sexual partner have non gonococcal Urethritis, leukorrhea increases, urethra, lower abdominal pain, and cervical edema are the appearance of hypertrophic filters, and mucinous purulent secretions are often caused by chlamydia trachomatis and ureaplasma urealyticum.
(2) The vulva and vagina of candidal Vaginitis are severely itchy, the leucorrhea is increased, showing white water sample, curd like, bean curd dregs like, slightly smelly, the Labia minora is swollen and hypertrophic, the vaginal mucosa is congested and edematous, there is milky white film adhesion, and mild erosion can be seen after removing the film, and groups of ovospores and pseudohyphae can be seen by the white film microscopy.
(3) Trichomoniasis has a itching sensation in the vagina, a large amount of yellowish white or yellowish green secretions, which are foam shaped and have a fishy smell. The vaginal mucosa and cervix are obviously congested and have spotty bleeding. The cervix can show a characteristic strawberry appearance. The secretions are placed on a slide containing warm physiological saline, and microscopic examination shows that Trichomonas is active.
