What are the causes of male infertility? Does sexual function also affect male infertility
Cultivating this project is not only a problem for women. Cultivating new life needs to be completed by both husband and wife. There are problems with either party's physical function, which may lead to infertility. What is the reason for male fatherhood difficulties?
Common causes of male infertility include endocrine abnormalities, genetic factors, immune factors, sexual dysfunction, varicocele, semen abnormalities, congenital abnormalities of reproductive organs, systemic chronic diseases and nutritional diseases, environmental factors and bad habits.
1. The most common cause of male infertility is azoospermia.
Azospermia refers to that no sperm is found in multiple semen tests (at least twice, with an interval of 2-3 months). Even after three microscopic examinations of semen centrifugation, no sperm can be found. The semen volume is less than 1.5ml. People with pH acid and low fructose should first consider ejaculatory duct obstruction and congenital bilateral vas deferens insufficiency (CBAVD). When the amount of semen is small, urine examination after ejaculation should also be performed to eliminate retrograde ejaculation. When retrograde ejaculation is excluded, azoospermia can be diagnosed.
2. About 35% - 40% of male infertility patients are caused by varicocele.
Varicocele is due to the extension, expansion and flexion of the racemose venous plexus of the spermatic cord, resulting in poor function of the venous valve, obstruction of the return of the spermatic vein, and blood reflux. Varicocele is prone to occur in young people aged 20-30 years old, and its symptoms are like earthworms crawling to the surface of the scrotum.
3. Testicular pain can also lead to male infertility. There are many reasons for testicular pain, such as infection, trauma, and tumor. It is also one of the common diseases in andrology clinics.
When patients complain of symptoms, due to different types of diseases, the nature of pain is different, such as swelling pain, falling pain, knife cut pain, etc; The degree of pain also varies from dull pain to severe pain. In addition to the pain caused by the pathological changes of the testis itself, the pathological changes of the epididymis, spermatic cord and inflammation in the scrotum also often cause testicular pain.
4. Sexual function can also affect male infertility.
Decreased function: the opposite sex has no sexual impulse and no sexual demand for half a year. Although these people have decreased sexual function, when they have sex, the penile erectile function is often normal. Because sexual function varies from person to person, sexual dysfunction also refers to those who have significantly decreased sexual function compared with previous ones.
