Testicular pain is caused by inflammation, injury, tumors, and other factors in the male reproductive system and its local tissues, and is one of the common symptoms in male clinics. So, what are the common diseases of testicular pain? How should I treat it?
1. Watch out for orchitis due to testicular pain
Orchitis is a common cause of testicular pain. There are many reasons for orchitis, such as in patients with mumps, which can be accompanied by orchitis, leading to testicular pain and swelling. In addition, chronic prostatitis can also cause testicular pain, manifested as unilateral pain, mostly dull pain or traction pain, which is persistent. Microscopic examination of prostatic fluid shows a large number of white blood cells, and most patients are young men.
The treatment method for orchitis: The treatment principle of the disease is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, bedridden, supporting the scrotum, local hot compress, physical therapy, 1% lidocaine spermatic cord sealing injection to reduce pain, form an abscess, and must be incised and drained. The treatment effect evaluation of patients with orchitis can be cured, and the symptoms subside, with normal white blood cells, no atrophy of the testicles, no presence of hydrocele, improved symptoms, slightly enlarged testicles, tenderness, no improvement in symptoms and signs, swelling or atrophy of the testicles, formation of testicular abscess and hydrocele.
2. Watch out for testicular pain and testicular injury
The soft tissue of the scrotum is loose and the testicles have high mobility, but the scrotal contents are soft and have poor resistance to damage. Therefore, damage to the scrotum and its contents is not uncommon in clinical practice. It usually occurs in young and middle-aged male friends. Damage to the testicles, tunica vaginalis, spermatic cord, and scrotal wall is common, and the common cause of damage is direct violent injury.
Treatment method for testicular injury: During the treatment process of testicular injury, try to preserve the testicles as much as possible, and those with severe injury should receive anti-shock treatment.
Trauma: clean the wound surface, remove the necrotic tissue, repair and suture, try to retain the testicular tissue, maintain male function, completely remove the hematoma, avoid hematoma infection, do not remove the testicle when bilateral testicular injuries do not damage the testicular artery, if the testicle is broken, consider testicular orthotopic transplantation or ectopic transplantation
Contusion: Immediately cool down after local hematoma to reduce bleeding. Support and fix the testicles to alleviate pain, and those with hematomas that cannot be absorbed must undergo incision and drainage. When the pain of testicular swelling is unbearable, the white membrane can also be cut open to reduce the internal pressure of the testicles, but attention should be paid to the occurrence of curved tube hernia.
