In the author's opinion, the seven-year itch does not mean that the problem will arise in the seventh year. The reality is that the problem has already arisen, but both of them are enduring it, leaving some opportunities for each other and for themselves. However, in the seventh year, I was no longer willing to bear it. Therefore, the seven-year itch is not just a slight itch, but may be a big problem.
But why is the seventh year? What is its special meaning?
According to psychological theory, the personality structure and intellectual institutions of 6-year-old children are basically stereotyped. That is to say, the first childhood of a child is six years. From the seventh year, the second childhood of personality structure and intelligence structure begins. This also seems to explain why there is a seven-year itch.
In the marriage life, facing the dreams of transformation that cannot be realized, both parties will have great disappointment. They will be surprised to find that the closest person is not what they think. He (she) seems to be completely another person.
Therefore, the seven-year itch actually means a sense of disillusionment.
This is also a great opportunity. If both people see the real existence of each other and are willing to accept the most real side of each other, then a new and real relationship will be established. This relationship looks less moving than the previous six years, but it is more stable, more reliable, more flexible and more relaxed. If this relationship develops, it will become more and more in-depth and charming.
Therefore, when you fall into the seven-year itch, don't be afraid or depressed. Instead, you should recognize its value and accept your disillusionment. This disillusionment must be good. Only when disillusionment occurs, can the next relationship be a return to true love. Two illusions, no matter how infatuated with each other, are just illusions. Accept the truth of each other, love each other can go further.
Only those who really love each other come together are the most enviable. Love is the most solid foundation of feelings. It is not easy to go from love to kinship. So cherish every minute and every second together.
