Cervical polyp is also a gynecological disease that sometimes occurs in our daily life. It also has many symptoms. If we have abnormal performance, we must go to the hospital immediately for examination.
Symptoms of Cervical polyp
1. Sexual bleeding: Small polyps generally have no clinical symptoms. Some polyps exposed outside the cervix bleed after sexual intercourse and seek medical attention. For the pedicled elder, laser surgery can be performed under hysteroscopy, and the small polyps found at the same time can be treated together, which is the typical symptom of Cervical polyp.
2. Pain and bleeding symptoms: The most obvious symptoms of Cervical polyp are pain and bleeding, including pain in peacetime, in married life and in physiological days.
3. There is a mass in the cervix: a mass growing in the cervix and cervical canal, and the thin pedicle of the uterine cavity is attached to the uterine wall. It is clinically called cervical polyp. Therefore, a polyp like mass in the uterine cavity enters the uterine cavity with a pedicle under the fibroid mucosa and becomes a fibroid like polyp. Endometrial polyp are composed of endometrial hyperplasia, which can occur at any age. Common types of localized endometrial tumors protrude into the uterine cavity, are smooth, fleshy, and have different stem lengths. Older ones protrude out of the mouth of the cervix, and have short stems.
4. Abnormal vaginal discharge: Patients with increased vaginal discharge usually have yellow vaginal discharge, which often has a strange odor and has blood lineage.
Cervical polyp examination
1. Microscopic examination: Endometrial polyp are composed of endometrium, and the surface is covered with cuboidal epithelium or low columnar epithelium. The middle part of the polyp forms a fibrous longitudinal axis, which contains blood vessels. Stenosis of the pedicle, reduced blood supply, and variability of polyps. Polyp blood vessels become blood clots within polyp blood vessels, which become deep purple due to congestion. They often begin to necrosis in the upper part and eventually decay and fall off.
2. Papanicolaou staining: cervical Papanicolaou grade is a simple and effective method for early detection of cervical cancer. Under the staining microscope of fixed cervical epithelial cells, it is usually divided into grade I cells, normal grade II cells, inflammatory grade II cells, suspicious malignant cells, and grade III cancer cells
3. Gynecological examination: Acute inflammation can cause congestion, swelling, or erosion of the cervix, purulent secretions can be discharged from the cervical canal, and pain can occur when in contact with the cervix. Chronic Cervicitis can see the cervical erosion, hypertrophy, polyps, glandular cysts, ectropion and other manifestations of varying degrees, or see the purulent secretion at the mouth of the cervix, and the cervix is hard by palpation. Cervical erosion and polyps have contact bleeding.
