The five major gynecological diseases that cause uterine enlargement and hypertrophy should be prevented in this way
Uterine hypertrophy is an abnormal condition in women, which can also occur in daily life and has a serious impact on women. It is necessary to clarify the cause and take preventive measures in daily life.
Causes of uterine hypertrophy
1. Chronic uterine involution imperfection in multiparous women: elastic fiber tissue in the myometrium of multiparous women proliferates between smooth muscles and around blood vessels, resulting in uterine hypertrophy.
2. Ovarian dysfunction: estrogen continues to stimulate and myometrium thickens. Patients with common functional uterine bleeding in clinical practice, especially those with a longer course of disease, have a certain degree of uterine enlargement.
3. Inflammation causes: chronic adnexitis, pelvic connective tissue inflammation, chronic myositis of uterus, collagen fiber hyperplasia in myometrium, and uterine fibrosis.
4. Pelvic congestion can cause hyperplasia of uterine connective tissue and uterine hypertrophy.
5. Angiosclerosis of myometrium: primary uterine vascular disease, etc.
Diseases that cause uterine hypertrophy
1. Adenomyosis: adenomyosis, also known as internal endometriosis, where the endometrium grows in the middle of the myometrium, the uterus is enlarged, and the uterus during menstruation is significantly enlarged, accompanied by severe dysmenorrhea. The main symptom of adenomyosis due to enlarged uterus during examination is physiological pain, and 80% of patients have physiological pain.
2. Uterine fibroids: Uterine fibroids, also known as uterine fibroids, are the most common benign tumors of the female reproductive organs. Any part of the uterine fibroids will expand the uterus, and multiple uterine fibroids will expand the uterus, with irregular shapes. Uterine fibroids are mostly asymptomatic, with a few uterine patients presenting with vaginal bleeding, abdominal contact with tumors, and compression symptoms.
3. Functional uterine bleeding: Functional uterine bleeding is a common gynecological disease that refers to abnormal uterine bleeding. After diagnosis, no systemic or reproductive organ organic lesions were found, but rather due to dysfunction of the neuroendocrine system. Manifestations include irregular menstrual cycles, excessive menstrual volume, prolonged menstrual periods, or irregular bleeding. Premenopausal functional uterine bleeding can also cause uterine enlargement, but often slightly, and the uterus is uniform.
4. Endometrial cancer: Endometrial cancer, also known as uterine body cancer, is a common malignant tumor in gynecology. Endometrial cancer generally occurs between the ages of 55 and 60, and the uterus is enlarged and soft, with irregular vaginal bleeding as the prominent clinical manifestation.
