Revealing the Causes of Children's Premature Sexual Maturity and Teaching You the Characteristics of Premature Sexual Maturity
Many parents blindly supplement their children with food, resulting in precocious puberty. Premature puberty can occur at any age group, and only early detection can lead to early treatment.
What are the causes of precocious puberty in children?
Excessive exposure to light is the main cause of precocious puberty, as light can affect the normal functioning of the endocrine pineal gland in the brain. The function of the pineal gland is to secrete a large amount of melatonin when people enter a deep sleep state. The secretion is at its peak from 11 pm to early morning, and stops after dawn. As long as the eyes see the light source, melatonin will be inhibited and secretion will stop. If a child receives too much light, it will reduce melatonin secretion, cause sleep disorders, follicles will disappear earlier, and precocious puberty. 90% of precocious puberty is mainly influenced by external factors, so if there are no special circumstances when children sleep at night, try not to turn on the lights and ensure sufficient sleep. Children should not be exposed to computer screens for a long time.
What are the symptoms of precocious puberty?
Premature puberty generally occurs in girls, while male precocious puberty is mainly manifested as tumors. Premature puberty mainly refers to the early development of secondary sexual characteristics in children, which is basically consistent with normal puberty development. However, the clinical manifestations are different, and each age group may develop diseases before puberty, with different development rates. Development stops after a period of time, and may continue after the symptoms disappear. During development, the weight and height of boys and girls rapidly increase, and bone maturation accelerates. Due to rapid bone growth, the fusion of bone condyles closes prematurely. Patients with precocious puberty may have a much higher height in the early stages than their peers, but as adults, their height may be shorter. After puberty, children with precocious puberty are normal except for being shorter than normal.
Boys with precocious puberty should pay attention to the size of the testicles. If the testicles are larger than three milliliters, it indicates precocious puberty. If the testes are not enlarged, but masculinization develops relatively quickly, which indicates that peripheral precocious puberty occurs, the hormone may come from the adrenal gland, and intracranial tumors may also lead to precocious puberty in children. Later, intracranial hypertension, visual impairment and other common occurrences need vigilance.
reminder
