Remembering Five Preventive Measures for Recurrent Acute Pelvic Inflammation with Great Harm
Acute discitis is a common gynecological disease, and its harm should also be clearly defined. In daily life, we should live and eat reasonably to effectively prevent diseases.
The hazards of acute discitis
1. Recurrent attacks: The main reason is the destruction of the structure of the fallopian tube tissue caused by pelvic inflammatory disease, and the patient is still at the same high risk factor, which can cause reinfection and recurrent attacks of pelvic inflammatory disease.
2. Pelvic disc inflammation can easily become chronic pelvic pain, while acute pelvic disc inflammation can leave behind chronic pelvic pain. It is mostly 4-8 weeks after the acute onset of pelvic inflammatory disease. And the likelihood of occurrence increases with the increase in the frequency of pelvic inflammatory attacks.
3. Pelvic inflammatory disease can easily lead to infertility, and the incidence of infertility is related to the number of episodes of pelvic inflammatory disease. Relevant studies have shown that the minimum incidence of infertility in the first episode of pelvic inflammatory disease is 8%, and the maximum incidence is 13%. The lowest infertility rate during the third episode was 40%, and the highest infertility rate was 60%.
4. Pelvic inflammatory disease can easily lead to ectopic pregnancy, and the incidence of ectopic pregnancy after pelvic inflammatory disease is 8-10 times higher than that of normal women. The incidence of ectopic pregnancy is also related to the frequency of pelvic inflammatory disease. Studies have shown that the incidence of ectopic pregnancy during the first occurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease is 6%, the second occurrence is 12%, and the third occurrence is 22%.
5. May cause kidney disease. Untreated acute pelvic connective tissue inflammation not only spreads to tissues and organs such as the fallopian tubes and pelvic peritoneum, but also may cause pelvic abscess. Causing abscess around renal tissue, leading to kidney disease.
Causes of acute discitis
1. Inflammation spread of nearby organs: the most common is the direct spread of inflammation when Appendicitis and Peritonitis occur, causing female pelvic inflammation.
2. Not paying attention to hygiene during menstruation: Not paying attention to hygiene during menstruation, using sanitary napkins and tissues that do not meet hygiene standards, can provide opportunities for retrograde infection of bacteria. During menstruation, the endometrium falls off, the blood sinuses in the uterine cavity open, and there are clots, which are good conditions for bacterial reproduction.
3. Postpartum or miscarriage infection: Generally, postpartum patients have weaker physical constitution, and the cervical opening has not been closed yet. Bacteria present in the vagina and cervix may rise and infect the pelvis.
4. Infection after gynecological surgery: Improper disinfection during various gynecological surgeries or chronic inflammation of the original reproductive system are highly likely to cause postoperative infection. Some patients who do not pay attention to personal hygiene after surgery, do not follow the doctor's instructions, and resume sexual activity too early can also cause bacterial infections.
