Sperm has eleven fears, which are currently known as important reasons for the decline in semen quality.
(1) Pesticides and insecticides: Due to the widespread use of pesticides and insecticides in today's crops, people accumulate less and store more after consuming these foods for many years. A certain amount of pesticides and insecticides stored in the body will certainly reduce the activity of enzymes in the testes and reduce the energy supply in the process of spermatogenesis, thus changing the seminiferous tubules and spermatogonium that produce sperm, increasing the number of deformed sperm and leading to infertility.
(2) Exhaust gas: The exhaust gas emitted by vehicles during driving contains a large amount of toxic substances, the most common of which is lead, which has a serious killing effect on sperm and is worthy of attention.
(3) Electrical appliances: household appliances, computers, microwave ovens, mobile phones, etc. can make the contacts suffer from microwave and fluorescent screen rays, interfere with cell differentiation, cause atrophy of seminiferous tubule epithelium, malformation of spermatid, resulting in azoospermia, or excessive sperm abnormalities, leading to infertility.
(4) Cigarettes: The impact of smoking or passive smoking on fertility is often overlooked. Studies have shown that in young men who smoke more than 30 cigarettes per day, abnormal changes in sperm morphology are more than four times higher than those who do not smoke.
(5) Alcohol: Like smoking, both alcohol and nicotine have a killing effect on sperm, which can cause poor sperm development and reduce their vitality.
(6) High temperature: The temperature suitable for sperm growth and development is about 34 ℃. When the temperature is 1-2 ℃ higher than this, it will have adverse effects on sperm development. For example, frequent sauna bathing may cause male infertility.
(7) Mental tension: Emotional tension is also a major obstacle to sperm development. Because stress affects reproductive function through the action of the neuroendocrine system, learning to self regulate emotions and maintain a comfortable mood will be beneficial for eugenics
(8) Drugs: With the continuous development of modern medicine, clinical medication has become increasingly complex. In fact, many drugs have certain side effects on sperm. The endocrine imbalance caused by it can also lead to male infertility.
(9) STD infection: In recent years, the epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases in China has reached a serious stage, and the resulting damage to the reproductive system is also astonishing. Clinical investigations have shown that male infertility caused by this alone accounts for nearly 20%.
(10) Drug use: Male drug use can lead to a decrease in testosterone levels in the blood, weakened sperm production ability, inability to ejaculate, and infertility.
(11) Cosmetics: Because most cosmetics contain estrogen like substances, they can counteract male hormones, affect their secretion, and lead to male infertility.
