Is male condyloma acuminatum common? How about the effect of cryotherapy on condyloma acuminatum
After human infection with human papillomavirus, it will take another 15 days to 8 months, usually after the incubation period of 3 months. Condyloma acuminatum is painless at the beginning, and the rash is not obvious. Many patients have no symptoms. As long as condyloma acuminatum can be found and treated early, the results will not be affected. If the wart is relatively small, the wart can be removed directly. When the wart is found late or not treated in time, and the wart is large or widely developed, it usually requires multiple treatments to remove the wart.
The treatment of male condyloma acuminatum must be treated comprehensively: treat the inducement (redundant prepuce and gonorrhea), improve the body immunity, and use antiviral drugs. Generally speaking, it can be cured with standardized comprehensive treatment. Physical therapy such as laser, electrocautery and freezing can also be used. First, we must improve our immunity.
1. Surgical treatment
Treatment inducement: long penis skin, gonorrhea. Single or small warts can be removed by surgery, but large condyloma acuminatum can be removed by Mohs's operation. During treatment, use frozen section to check whether the damage is completely removed.
2. Cryotherapy
Use liquid nitrogen with a low temperature of minus 119 degrees Celsius to treat condyloma acuminatum by freezing, and promote the necrosis of wart tissue to fall off. This method is applicable to warts with small quantity and area. It can be treated for 1-2 times with an interval of 1 week.
3. Laser therapy
Generally, CO2 laser and cauterization are used to treat condyloma acuminatum. This method is most suitable for penis or perianal condyloma. Single or small amount of multiple warts can be treated perfectly at one time, and multiple or large warts can be treated for two to three times, with an interval of one week.
4. Electric burn therapy
Use high-frequency electroacupuncture and knife to remove warts. This treatment is applicable to warts with small quantity and area.
5. Microwave therapy
After microwave surgery, lidocaine is used for local anesthesia. The tip of the rod radiation probe is inserted into the condyloma acuminatum and directly reaches the bottom of the wart body. When the wart body becomes small, dark and hard, the thermal radiation coagulation is completed, and the probe can be withdrawn. Coagulation lesions can be removed with tweezers. However, in order to prevent recurrence, it is necessary to repeatedly coagulate the residual base.
6、 β- Radiation therapy
This method has good curative effect, no pain, no injury, less side effects, and low probability of recurrence, which is of clinical significance.
