Is it harmful for girls to wear bras too early during their developmental period? What are the correct ways to wear a bra
In daily life, many people believe that bras should be worn in a timely manner when the breasts are raised, while others believe that they should be worn after the postpartum breast secretes milk. Should adolescent girls wear bras? When is the best time to wear a bra?
At what age is it better for girls to wear bras?
At present, there is no evidence to suggest that wearing a bra can cause breast disease, but if the bra is chosen improperly or worn improperly, it can bring a series of health problems.
Bras have a supportive effect on the breasts, which can alleviate breast sagging and to some extent protect the chest from impact and compression injuries.
But young girls begin to develop their breasts around the age of 10, and after 4-5 years of development, their breasts will basically form a shape. If a bra is worn too early during development, it can easily limit normal breast development, leading to breast function degradation, breast deformation, and even affecting future breastfeeding.
Therefore, during adolescence, it is recommended to wear bras as little as possible. In general, bras can be worn after breast development and shaping around the age of 15.
At present, there is no evidence to suggest that wearing a bra can cause breast disease, but if the bra is chosen improperly or worn improperly, it can bring a series of health problems. There are abundant blood vessels, glandular vessels, lymphatic vessels, and nerves distributed on the breast. If the bra is too small, especially a closed bra, it can cause compression on the breast, affect blood circulation, cause breast ischemia, spasms, and lymphatic blockage, which can easily lead to infection or breast hyperplasia
Pay attention to these when wearing a bra!
Firstly, the duration of wearing a bra should not be too long, and it should not exceed 8 hours per day, let alone sleeping with a bra on. When you have nothing to do, you can do more chest expansion exercises or lift your upper limbs to promote blood circulation.
Secondly, choose cotton. Chemical fiber bras can easily trigger skin allergies and have poor breathability. During human activity, bras constantly rub against the nipples, and the fibers inside the bra can easily enter the breast through the nipple. Over time, they can block the breast and nipples, leading to breast diseases.
Once again, choose a loose bra, preferably one size larger than your own breasts. Wearing a bra that is too small or too tight for a long time can affect local blood and lymphatic circulation, leading to various breast diseases.
Finally, choose bras that are more suitable for you for different age groups. For women with larger breasts, the shoulder straps of their underwear should be wider, otherwise it will cause uneven shoulder support and increase the burden on the shoulders and back, which can lead to back pain or chest sagging in the long run. During lactation, it is necessary to wear a bra because due to breastfeeding, women's breasts are generally swollen and prone to sagging. Wearing a bra is a very important part of maintaining body shape. After the age of 50, it is strictly prohibited to wear bras with steel or fiber material to prevent providing a warm bed for breast diseases.
