Is drinking Chinese medicine in disorder equal to chronic poisoning? Professional pharmacists tell you to drink like this
Many people mistakenly believe that Chinese medicine is mild in nature and has little or no side effects. This is not the case. It is a kind of medicine with three kinds of toxicity, especially some traditional Chinese medicine with cold nature and bitter taste. If taken for a long time, it may hurt the spleen and stomach. Whether the decoction is taken correctly or not directly affects the absorption and treatment effect of the drug in the human body.
Time of administration
In general:
The decoction for liver disease and kidney disease should be taken 30-60 minutes before meals;
The decoction for heart, lung, chest and diaphragm should be taken 15-30 minutes after meal.
Specific drug taking time:
A small amount of digestive aid should be taken before taking the medicine to help the effect;
Insecticide should be taken on an empty stomach in the morning. Drink some sugar water before taking the medicine, which can improve the effect of killing insects;
Stop taking the medicine immediately after getting stool;
Anti-aging drugs and anti-aging drugs should be taken before bedtime;
Sleeping pills should be taken 2 hours before going to bed;
Antimalarial drugs should be taken 2 hours before the attack.
Emergency medicine is not limited to time. Those who take pills, powder, cream and alcohol for chronic diseases should take them regularly. In case of difficulty in sweating, the time of taking medicine can be shortened to facilitate sweating.
Medication temperature
The temperature of the decoction is related to the nature of the medicine. Generally, it should be taken warm.
However, the liquid medicine for relieving external symptoms, dispelling cold and activating blood circulation should be taken while it is hot;
Antipyretic and antiemetic drugs for treating febrile diseases should be taken after the liquid cools down.
Shelf life?
Experts suggest that, for the sake of safety, the sealed vacuum packaged Chinese medicine decoction should be stored within the range of 0 ℃~5 ℃ in the refrigerator freezer for 7~14 days, but not more than 7 days. On the one hand, the soup is usually stored at room temperature for half a day to a day before being taken home for cold storage after being cooked, which will accelerate the deterioration of the soup; On the other hand, if the decoction contains animal traditional Chinese medicine such as scorpion and centipede or traditional Chinese medicine with high sugar content such as Radix Rehmanniae and Radix Astragali, it will also affect the storage time. If the liquid medicine bag bulges or the liquid medicine tastes bad, bubbles and other abnormal phenomena are found, it is deteriorated and cannot be taken.
Method of administration
Generally, the decoction is taken orally. There are also some special traditional Chinese medicines that need special taking methods, such as dissolving medicine, taking hot medicine after closing, and taking medicine after washing.
Traditional Chinese medicine is also a medicine. It should be taken scientifically and not indiscriminately, otherwise it will be harmful and useless. After mastering these methods, we can make better use of drug properties and achieve better therapeutic effects.
