Interpretation of the performance of boys and girls' precocious puberty Why precocious puberty
Premature puberty is a common developmental abnormality of the pediatric endocrine system. It refers to an abnormal disease in which girls develop secondary sexual signs before the age of 8 and boys develop secondary sexual signs before the age of 9. Central precocious puberty (CPP) is due to the early increase in the secretion and release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) in the hypothalamus, and the early activation of the gonadal axis function, resulting in gonadal development and secretion of sex hormones, showing internal and external genital development and secondary sexual characteristics. CPP, also known as GnRH-dependent precocity, develops its process to the maturity of the reproductive system.
Interpretation of boys and girls' sexual precocity
Performance of precocious puberty in boys
The main manifestations of precocious puberty in boys are enlargement of testis and penis, appearance of pubic hair, changes of beard and voice, erection of penis and ejaculation. After the appearance of testicles and penises, parents found that the head of these children was faster than that of children of the same age, and girls also had the same situation.
Performance of girls' precocious puberty
Girls are mainly manifested in the development of breasts and have a sense of touch. They tell their mother that they have chest pain. In addition, the development of external genitalia, the increase of vaginal secretion, the increase of pubic hair, the onset of menstruation, and the appearance of axillary hair. At the beginning of menstruation, there was irregular vaginal bleeding and no ovulation, and then it gradually developed into periodic menstruation.
Why does it lead to sexual precocity?
The reasons for precocious puberty are as follows:
1. There is some pathological change in the brain. Tuberculous meningitis and other sequelae, adhesion of the hypothalamus at the bottom of the head, can cause precocious puberty.
2. Craniocerebral injury, such as skull base fracture and severe labor injury.
3. Have a family history.
4. Adrenal cortical hyperplasia, adrenal cortical tumor, gonadal function tumor, choriocarcinoma, etc. can cause precocious puberty. The reason is that the disease and tumor itself can secrete gonadal hormone or promote gonadal hormone, and make the development of sexual organs.
5. Children eat their mother's birth control pills by mistake, resulting in exogenous precocious puberty.
