How to view ovulation test strips as a tool for pregnancy? How to use ovulation test paper correctly
As the name suggests, ovulation test strips are used by women to determine whether they are ovulating normally. If ovulation is normal, the likelihood of pregnancy is relatively high. If you don't ovulate, you won't get pregnant. Therefore, the results of the ovulation test paper are indeed closely related to pregnancy, but the results of the ovulation test paper cannot directly provide the answer to pregnancy. So, what do you think of ovulation test strips for pregnancy? Let's study together with the editor.
First, understand the results of the ovulation test paper. After using the ovulation test paper correctly, the results are divided into three types.
The first type is negative, with only one red strip or test line in the control line area being lighter than the control line. There is a red strip, indicating that the control line displays color, while the detection line does not display color, indicating anovulation; There are two red bands, and the detection line is significantly lighter than the control line, indicating that there is no peak in LH in urine and testing must continue every day.
The second is positive, with two colored bands appearing, and the detection line is equal to or deeper than the control line. Indicates that LH peak has occurred, indicating that ovulation will occur within 24-48 hours.
The third type is an invalid result. When there are no colored bars in the control line area, it indicates test failure or reagent failure. In this case, the instructions should be carefully read again and retested with a new reagent strip. If there are still problems, immediately stop using the batch of products and contact your local distributor or manufacturer.
If the second situation, which is a positive result, indicates a high likelihood of pregnancy at this time, then use an early pregnancy test strip after close activity with a man and use an early pregnancy test strip to conceive. The early pregnancy test also has three results. If there is a purple line (control line C line) in the experimental area, it indicates that there is no pregnancy. If there are two purple lines (control line C and test line T) in the experimental area, it indicates pregnancy. The color intensity of the test line varies with H during different stages of pregnancy, and the concentration of CG changes. If there is no purple line in the test area or only one purple line (test line T line) in the test area, it indicates that the test has failed or the test paper is invalid, and the test should be retested.
If the result of the early pregnancy test paper is the second situation, which is that there are two bars, then it can basically be confirmed that you are pregnant. Therefore, using ovulation test strips alone cannot accurately determine pregnancy, and early pregnancy test strips should also be used to accurately determine pregnancy.
