Children's curiosity and exploration about sex determine their need for education
Sex accompanies us throughout our lives, from the birth of a child to the passing of the world, people's demand for sex has always existed, but in different forms and degrees. When children discover touching their reproductive organs, they will continue this behavior. From the perspective of children, they are doing it right, exploring their bodies and enjoying their bodily sensations.
As guardians, what we should do is understand and respect their behavior, inform them of social norms, not only have a positive awareness of sex, but also better adapt to society and respect others. Therefore, sex education is a must do homework, and this phenomenon inevitably exists in children's growth. They ask many questions when exploring their own bodies, and they have the right to receive the correct answers.
Parents and teachers have the obligation to answer their children's questions and must try to give them the correct answers. They should use simple language to tell their children, understand their thoughts, and express themselves to them.
How to teach children about cognition
1. After a child is born, regardless of gender, there should be no confusion in choosing a name, clothing, or daily necessities to prevent the child from developing a sexual haziness towards themselves and others from an early age, which can affect their sexual orientation.
2. When children can understand language, parents should integrate sex education into their daily lives, such as making clear gender distinctions in bathing, dressing, hair styling, and toy choices. Children can also be guided to observe the growth and reproduction of animals and plants through books, art books, movies, storytelling, etc., so that they can develop a natural understanding of reproduction, thus enabling them to accept nature, love humanity, understand the essence of life, and achieve sexual self-awareness.
3. Free exploration of one's own body is a good starting point for healthy sex education. Parents should choose appropriate times in family life, such as taking a shower or before going to bed, to naturally let their children know their own body, especially to make them realize that the reproductive organs are not mysterious like other organs in the human body, and guide their children to maintain self cleanliness and develop good hygiene habits.
