How to provide preoperative care for penile fracture surgery? How to do a good job in diet and health care when the penis is broken
The phenomenon of male penile fracture caused by intense sexual activity also occasionally occurs. This is because after a full erection, the penis will break if subjected to a violent impact, just like a bone fracture. Therefore, some people vividly refer to a broken penis as a "penile fracture", which is a special situation where the white membrane outside the corpus cavernosum of the penis is overwhelmed and ruptures. It belongs to one of the male emergency diseases and requires urgent treatment. However, patients also need to receive appropriate dietary supplements during treatment to help us recover our health as soon as possible.
Diet for penile fracture:
1. Eat a light diet and consume foods rich in vitamins B1, B2, and B6, such as beans, grains, etc.
2. Eat a variety of foods with high protein, vitamins, calories, and digestibility, such as animal liver, eggs, lean meat, soy milk products, seafood, red dates, and so on.
3. Be careful not to eat spicy, alcoholic, or stimulating foods in your diet. These can cause blood vessel congestion.
Daily health care for penile fracture:
1. Stay away from cigarettes: Smoking (including second-hand smoke) can affect the hardness of penile erection. A new study has found that smokers have significantly smaller penile erections than non-smokers. Experts say that smoking not only damages blood vessels, but also causes damage to penile tissue, leading to a decrease in penile elasticity and limited erectile function.
2. Frequent walking: Experts say a study involving 31000 people found that men who walk 2 miles (approximately 1.6 kilometers) a day have a 50% lower risk of erectile problems compared to men who sit for long periods of time. Jogging for 20 minutes or lifting weights for 30 minutes per day also has the same effect.
Pre operative care for penile fracture:
1. Clean the area before and on the day of surgery.
2. Patients with concurrent inflammation of the foreskin and glans penis should receive treatment in advance and undergo surgery after the inflammation subsides.
3. Do not hold your urine and avoid affecting wound healing due to repeated penile erection.
4. Keep the perineum clean. Some patients may experience discomfort in the foreskin area after surgery, and scratching should be prohibited. After defecation and urination, they should be wiped clean to prevent local contamination.
Postoperative care for penile fracture:
1. Within three months after surgery, try to avoid walking, cycling, sexual stimulation, and fantasies as much as possible to avoid affecting wound healing due to repeated penile erection.
