Many men are unaware of the early stages of prostatitis, but it is too late to detect it later. Therefore, it is particularly important to know the early symptoms of prostatitis in advance. Here are the main symptoms of prostatitis:
(1) Urination: frequent urination, urgency, pain in urination, difficulty urinating, and excessive nocturnal urination. Some patients drip a thin, clear, or milky white liquid, known as prostate fluid, through the urethral orifice before and after defecation.
(2) Pain: Due to persistent chronic inflammatory stimulation, nerve reflexes can cause discomfort in the patient's lower body, causing severe tenderness and swelling in the perineum, anus, and scrotum, and often radiating to the suprapubic, lumbosacral, bilateral groins, and perineum. It can also cause lower limb pain, making the patient unbearable and restless. The symptoms are generally more obvious after waking up in the morning.
(3) Sexual function changes: There are premature ejaculation, ejaculation, decreased libido, or impotence, and some patients have ejaculatory pain and blood semen. In some infertility, chronic prostatitis is a very important cause.
(4) Neurasthenia: insomnia, dreaminess, fatigue, dizziness, lack of self-confidence, and depression. Some have decreased memory or symptoms characterized by neurasthenia.
(5) Metastatic symptoms: Inflammation spreads to other tissues and organs, causing infection, causing allergic reactions in the body, such as arthritis and neuritis. In addition, during digital rectal examination, the prostate can be enlarged, normal, or shrunk, with uneven surface hardness, nodular appearance, or tenderness. Most patients have changes in urine color, such as dark or cloudy urine color, or milky white liquid can be seen in terminal urination. Macroscopic hematuria is relatively rare, and most manifestations are microscopic hematuria.
Note: Even if you have one or more of the above conditions, don't assume that you must have prostatitis. You should go to a regular hospital for a prostate fluid test. Sometimes other diseases can have the same or similar symptoms. Treat again after diagnosis.
