How should AIDS patients be treated? Four points should be done well in the treatment of AIDS
AIDS is the window of the symptoms, usually refers to the symptoms of AIDS acute phase. The window period is very short, so it starts from the day of AIDS infection to the day when it can be detected. For ordinary people, the window period is 2-12 weeks.
In such a short period of time, the symptoms of AIDS are generally acute infection symptoms.
When the AIDS virus enters the human body, it will replicate in large numbers and begin to destroy the immune system. When lymphocytes are stimulated to respond, it will show some common acute symptoms. Such as fever, rash, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, sweating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pharyngitis, etc. When testing blood, it may be found that the number of white blood cells is normal, lymphocytes are reduced, and monocytes are increased. This phenomenon is the same as the symptoms of human infection with other viruses or inflammation. Therefore, it is impossible to diagnose whether you are infected with AIDS by checking blood routine. In addition, some people have mild symptoms and normal blood routine.
Most infected people can detect AIDS antibody positive within 2 to 6 weeks by measuring whole blood, serum and plasma.
What are the symptoms of AIDS in the window period?
After infection with AIDS, the symptoms in the window period may appear in 2-4 weeks, and disappear by itself in 2-6 weeks. Symptoms are irregular and vary from person to person. Many people have symptoms, which are also mild and often ignored. After that, it entered a long asymptomatic incubation period.
Symptoms of AIDS incubation period and time of AIDS incubation period
During the incubation period, there are usually no symptoms, the symptoms are not serious, and the appearance is the same as normal. Some patients have skin rash, diarrhea and other symptoms during the incubation period, which are roughly the same as the symptoms during the AIDS window.
Four points should be done well in the treatment of AIDS
1. General supportive therapy: including physical and mental rest and nutrition supply.
2. Control of opportunistic infections and treatment of malignant tumors: most of the opportunistic infections have special effective drugs, which use a variety of antibacterial, anti fungal and antigenic insect drugs to treat opportunistic infections in AIDS patients under the guidance of doctors. The doctor decides to use radiotherapy, chemotherapy or surgery for malignant tumors.
3. Anti AIDS drugs. Directly inhibit the activity of virus reverse recording enzyme and prevent the replication process of virus in human cells, such as diazotidine and DDI currently used in clinic. These two drugs are widely used in clinic. Some patients can reduce the number of viruses by not completely inhibiting the virus replication process in their bodies after taking drugs, but the virus level rebounds immediately after reducing or stopping taking drugs. Obviously, these two drugs cannot cure AIDS, but can only delay the disease and prolong the survival period.
