Orgasm is not unfamiliar to everyone, and many people also know that women can achieve both clitoral and vaginal orgasms. But an interesting study published in the American journal 'Sexual and Relationship Therapy' found that through exercise, women can also experience the pleasure of orgasm.
Dr. Debbie Hebenick, director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, led the study. They surveyed 530 women aged 18-63 through online questionnaires, with the majority being married women.
The results showed that 124 individuals had experiences similar to orgasm during physical exercise. 40% of them stated that this wonderful exercise experience has occurred at least 10 times. Most people report having a certain level of self-awareness when experiencing orgasm during public sports, while 20% of people report being unable to control the arrival of orgasm. Unlike many people's expectations, the vast majority of women who achieve orgasm during exercise say they actually don't think about sex or the people who attract them during exercise.
Dr. Hebennick pointed out, "In the past, people believed that physical exercise was beneficial for sexual activity and made people more sensitive to sexual stimuli. This study further found that exercise itself can bring orgasmic pleasure
The survey also identified several sports that can provide women with the most pleasure, namely abdominal exercise, yoga, cycling, running, and walking. At present, researchers are not yet aware of the fundamental reasons why exercise triggers orgasm and sexual pleasure, but Dr. Hebenick said that exercise can help improve women's overall health and also contribute to sexual activity.
