In addition to itching and burning of the external genitalia in women, they may also suffer from vulvitis. Next, let's take a look at the common diseases and nursing methods of female vulva.
Female vulva is prone to 5 diseases
1. Fungal vulvitis
Vulvitis caused by a type of yeast infection, often coexisting with fungal vaginitis.
2. Acute vulvar ulcer
It is often caused by various reasons of vulvitis, and is generally a manifestation of the pathological process of vulvitis.
3. Sexually transmitted diseases
During the onset of sexually transmitted diseases such as genital warts, soft scabies, genital herpes, and gonorrhea, the external genitalia is often inflamed.
4. Infantile vulvitis
15 days after the birth of a newborn, various miscellaneous bacteria grow in the vagina. In addition, due to the immature development of the external reproductive organs in infants and young children, their ability to resist bacterial infections is poor, and their external genitalia is prone to being soaked in urine, contaminated with feces, and children tend to sit around randomly. These are all easy causes of infection and can cause vulvitis in infants and young children.
5. Urethral meatus polyp
Urethral polyps are tumor like tissues that appear at the female urethral opening, also known as urethral granulomas or vascular polyps. It is commonly seen in women during menopause and is associated with a severe decrease in estrogen levels. Histology can reveal varying degrees of inflammatory cell infiltration, fibrosis, varicose veins, and minimal canceration, which can be classified into three types: papillary tumor type, vascular tumor type, and granulomatous type.
