For couples who do not touch each other while sleeping, the happiness index of couples who turn to the same direction is the highest, followed by back-to-back couples, and finally the couples with multiple faces. Professor Wiseman believes that the distance between husband and wife during sleeping is the most important factor reflecting the relationship between them. According to a survey by Professor Wiseman, 94% of couples who hug while sleeping feel happy, satisfied and deeply love each other. Only 68% of couples who did not hug while sleeping felt happy. The proportion of happy couples who sleep at a distance of 2-3 cm at the same time is more than 20% higher than those who get together farther.
