Diet, also known as a catalyst for precocious puberty in children, how to prevent precocious puberty in children
Premature puberty refers to the development of secondary sexual characteristics in children before the age of 10 due to the effects of estrogen and androgens in the blood circulation - girls have enlarged breasts before the age of 8, pubic and axillary hair growth before the age of 9, menstrual cycles and penile enlargement before the age of 10, boys who exceed normal development levels have suddenly enlarged testes, penile enlargement before the age of 10, prominent laryngeal nodes, low voice, axillary hair growth, enlarged sweat and sebaceous glands, and first ejaculation
There are three types of precocious puberty: true precocious puberty, false precocious puberty, and incomplete precocious puberty.
True precocious puberty: The development and maturation of the gonads are completely consistent with the secondary sexual characteristics, relatively early. It is caused by early activation and hyperfunction of the hypothalamic pituitary ovarian axis, a regulatory system in the body that manages youth development. The male to female ratio of true precocious puberty is 1:8, with girls being higher than boys.
Pseudo precocious puberty: The development of secondary sexual characteristics does not follow the pace of gonadal development, and the testes and ovaries themselves do not develop, but some secondary sexual characteristics appear early. The reasons for this are relatively clear, such as tumors in the thalamus, pineal gland, ovary, adrenal cortex, and chorionic epithelium, or the sequelae of viral meningitis causing a large secretion of sex hormones. In addition, due to exogenous hormones mistakenly taking birth control pills, taking hormone containing supplements, and using hormone containing cosmetics, children may experience pseudo precocious puberty.
Incomplete precocious puberty: Refers to the development of only a few sexual characteristics. Some girls have simple breast enlargement, and children with early-stage breast development are referred to as early-stage pubic hair development. In summary, apart from these isolated phenomena, there are no systemic endocrine changes. This situation generally does not require special treatment.
Diet or promoting precocious puberty in children
Major tonics that can be used as medicine include cordyceps sinensis, ginseng, dried longan, dried lychee, astragalus, and ginseng. Traditional Chinese medicine points out that the more tonic Tonic Diet is, the easier it is to change children's normal endocrine environment, and the more unbalanced their physical and mental development will be.
Poultry meat, especially the neck of poultry, is mostly raised on the market using feed mixed with rapid growth agents. The residues of ripening promoting agents in poultry meat are mainly concentrated in the glands of the neck, so eating chicken, duck, and goose neck has become a high-risk behavior to promote early ripening.
Out of season vegetables and fruits, strawberries, grapes, watermelons, tomatoes, etc. in winter, and pears, apples, oranges, and peaches that are released early in late spring are almost all out of season or matured early with the help of "ripening promoters". It is important to avoid giving them to young children.
