Sexual Health
Children's sex education should pay attention to the precautions for sex education in the three periods
Many parents are shy about sex and always avoid speaking. Common reports of sexual assault on children. Therefore, parents' sex education for their children is crucial and it is necessary to strengthen their correct guidance for their children. What are the precautions for children's sex education? Let's take a look.
When will sex education begin?
I often hear people ask: At what age is it appropriate to start early childhood sex education? This issue cannot be generalized and should be considered based on the child's developmental and nurturing status, family environment, residential area, and religious background. Generally speaking, it can be considered from two aspects: first, during the basic development of the body, and second, during the sound development of the brain. Previous sexual education tended to focus on the former, where children entered puberty and began sexual education when secondary sexual characteristics appeared. The latter tended to start when the child's brain was healthy.
The important period of children's sex education:
Aphrodisiac period
Children need to smoke from birth. Smoking will continue his life. Smoking gives him a sense of security and comfort when approaching his mother. Within 3-6 months, the child enters the period of desire, and this attraction demand is particularly prominent. Children of this age group tend to stuff everything they reach into their mouths with their small hands, and they also enjoy sucking on their fingers, blowing bubbles, and so on. This phenomenon usually persists until around the age of 1 year. Advocating breastfeeding not only provides children with necessary nutrients, but also brings great pleasure. The above-mentioned behavior of children during the period of libido is actually a manifestation of Freud's pursuit of satisfying his own sexual desire, that is, satisfying his libido.
Breastfeeding as much as possible and allowing children to use comfort is a safer way to solve this problem. So many children around the age of one in Western countries almost pacify their pacifiers.
Anal desire period
Children aged 1-2 are in a period of anal desire, and they can obtain pleasure from defecation and fecal retention, known as anal desire satisfaction. Children of this age group may be interested in their own feces, so after defecation, they often play with their hands. If children experience psychological setbacks during this period, or later in their psychological development (until adulthood), they can withdraw and remain fixed in the anal desire period, exhibiting fecal fetishism, enema fetishism, etc.
This period is a good time to train children like toilets, but it is necessary to patiently and happily train them. Being rude and impatient, or showing a sense of disdain for the sexual organs between speaking and behavior, can lead to children having incorrect perceptions of their own bodies, forming a psychological state of abnormal depression.
