Can you get uterine cancer without removing the uterus? It should be decided according to the condition
Uterine disease is a common disease of women. If you find yourself suffering from this disease, if you do not diagnose and treat it in time, this disease will increase the degree of damage to the uterus. When the female uterus is damaged too much, malignant transformation may occur in the uterus and form uterine cancer. The treatment of uterine cancer is mostly surgical.
Can you get uterine cancer without removing the uterus?
1. The focus is located in the fallopian tube
For women with uterine cancer whose cancer cells have not spread, if the lesion is located in the fallopian tube, the disease can be treated by removing the fallopian tube on the lesion side. Therefore, such patients do not need to remove all the uterus
2. The lesion is located on the endometrium of the uterine cavity
For female patients with endometrial cancer, if they are in the early stage of disease, it is better to remove the uterus in time, so as to effectively control the spread of cancer cells, and then achieve the goal of radical cure of cancer. If patients in this period do not take hysterectomy to treat this disease, it is basically impossible to cure the disease, and if their daily nursing measures are not in place, it may also accelerate the deterioration of cancer.
3. Patients with cancer cell proliferation
If the cancer cells spread to the outside of the uterus, the female patient with uterine cancer who has spread cancer cells does not need surgery. Even if the uterus is completely removed, the cancer cells outside the uterus will continue to spread. Therefore, for such female patients, their main task is to slow down the spread of cancer cells with appropriate methods. Of course, if the cancer cells of the patients do not spread to the outside of the uterus, they can still be treated by removing the uterus, but whether the patients meet other conditions for such surgery depends on their specific conditions.
What should patients with uterine cancer pay attention to after surgery?
For female patients with uterine cancer undergoing hysterectomy, their diet management must be strengthened after surgery. Because a large amount of nutrients need to be consumed to restore the position of body wounds after surgery, the main source of such nutrients is food. At the same time, attention should also be paid to personal hygiene. For patients with uterine cancer after surgery, they must often wipe their body wounds with disinfected water to reduce the possibility of bacterial infection at the wound site.
