The emergence of Endometriosis makes many patients particularly worried, and there are many reasons. We must effectively prevent it through reasonable living habits to reduce the probability of disease.
Causes of Endometriosis
1. Ectopic cultivation: During menstruation in women, endometrial glandular epithelium and stromal cells enter the pelvis through the fallopian tubes with retrograde flow of menstrual blood, and are planted in the ovaries and adjacent pelvic peritoneum, where they continue to grow and spread, forming pelvic endometriosis. The endometrium can also spread far through lymph nodes and veins, leading to ectopic cultivation. Clinically, Endometriosis occurs in organs far away from the pelvis, such as lungs, limb skin, muscles, etc., which may be the result of the spread of endometrium through blood circulation and lymph.
2. Genetic factors: Endometriosis has a certain family clustering, and the incidence of some patients may be related to heredity. The incidence risk of mothers and sisters of patients with Endometriosis is 7 times that of those without family history.
3. Immune and inflammatory factors: abnormal immune regulation plays an important role in the occurrence and development of Endometriosis, which is manifested by the weakened immune monitoring function and cytotoxic effect of immune killer cells and the inability to effectively clear the ectopic endometrium. Endometriosis is related to inflammation such as Peritonitis, which is manifested by the increase of megaphagocytes, inflammatory cytokines, growth factors, angiogenic substances in peritoneal fluid, and the promotion of survival, proliferation, local fiber proliferation and adhesion of ectopic endometrium.
4. Other factors: environmental factors may also increase the incidence rate of Endometriosis, and dioxins may increase the risk of endometriosis in women. Angiogenesis factors may also lead to the occurrence of Endometriosis, and the increase of vascular growth factors in peritoneal fluid can lead to the increase of pelvic microvascular growth, leading to Endometriosis. In addition, the decrease in apoptosis of ectopic endometrial cells may also be related to the progression of the disease.
Prevention of Endometriosis
1. Exercise prescription: Exercise can improve uterine congestion during menstruation and shorten the time of Uterine contraction. Women of childbearing age should undergo three physical exercises and one moderate intensity full body activity per week. Yoga is the best exercise to relieve menstrual pain.
2. Health prescription: Physiological daily sexual activity is not allowed. A room on a physiological day increases the probability of menstrual blood reflux. During this special period, women must avoid physical labor and not be too tired. Early menarche, with a cycle shorter than 27 days, but longer menstrual periods (over 7 days), increases the likelihood of menstrual blood reflux.
