Can chronic prostatitis cause premature ejaculation? What are the causes of premature ejaculation
Can chronic prostatitis induce premature ejaculation?
The so-called premature ejaculation refers to one of the manifestations of the penis ejaculating before contacting the female genitals without inserting into the vagina, or although the penis can be erect, it ejaculates prematurely just after insertion or less than a minute of insertion activity, and the penis immediately becomes soft, unable to continue sexual intercourse, so both men and women cannot obtain sexual satisfaction.
Premature ejaculation is not morbid, either lack of sexual life experience, or excessive sexual excitement, or excessive mental tension. Occasional premature ejaculation cannot be called premature ejaculation. Only those who often have premature ejaculation and cannot have sex can be identified as morbid premature ejaculation. The main causes of premature ejaculation are mental and psychological factors, such as sexual overexcitation, overexcitation, anxiety, tension, fear of failure, or physical fatigue and lack of energy, which weaken the control ability of ejaculation center.
Industry insiders believe that there are fewer organic reasons for premature ejaculation, such as long penis foreskin, urethritis, epididymitis, chronic prostatitis, etc. The central lumbar disc herniation may cause congestion, edema and dysfunction of the cauda equina due to the compression of the intervertebral disc and the herniation of the dura mater, affecting the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. Because the cauda equina nerve is part of the ejaculatory reflex arc, lumbar disc herniation causes abnormal nerve conduction, abnormal sensitivity, and premature ejaculation, which can be restored to normal through traction treatment.
Secondly, chronic prostatitis may also be one of the organic causes of premature ejaculation. For example, prostatitis, due to hyperemia, edema stimulation, hypersensitivity and hyperemia, can not control sexual impulse (especially young and middle-aged people), and will ejaculate soon. Allergy is actually a decrease in the threshold of impulse stimulation, so prostatitis may be accompanied by premature ejaculation.
Of course, the mechanism is not very clear, because even some people suffer from prostatitis, they do not have premature ejaculation, and their sexual function is the same as usual. Therefore, whether prostatitis can lead to premature ejaculation has no medical conclusion, and there is no clear medical conclusion. However, it is not impossible for some prostatitis patients to induce premature ejaculation to some extent due to untimely treatment, repeated diseases and psychological stress. But this does not mean that all prostatitis patients will have premature ejaculation, nor does it mean that premature ejaculation will be induced after prostatitis.
