Can adenomyosis of the uterus lead to pregnancy? Three therapies can help with pregnancy
Adenomyosis is a disease that we should pay attention to, and its appearance poses a serious threat to women. After getting sick, we must seek timely and reasonable treatment, while also paying attention to nursing.
Can adenomyosis of the uterus lead to pregnancy
Adenomyosis can lead to infertility in 30% -50% of patients due to:
1. Adenomyosis of the uterus can hinder sperm passage and fetal development
2. Adenomyosis of the uterus causes lesions near the uterine horn, which can compress the opening of the fallopian tube and cause obstruction.
3. If the cervix is compressed, it will change the orientation of the cervix opening, hinder the cervical canal, and keep it away from the semen pool in the posterior fornix, which is not conducive to sperm entering the cervix opening.
4. Adenomyosis affects the amplitude, duration, and frequency of uterine contractions, hinders the implantation of fertilized eggs, and leads to miscarriage after implantation.
Hazards of adenomyosis of the uterus
1. Uterine adenomyosis infertility: In recent years, with the widespread use of uterine cavity manipulation techniques, some young women have also developed infertility between the ages of 16 and 30, and women of reproductive age have also experienced infertility.
2. Adenomyosis of the uterus causes menstruation: Regarding the causes of excessive menstruation, it is traditionally believed that an increase in uterine volume and endometrial area can increase the chance of bleeding. However, currently, clinical observation shows that adenomyosis of the uterus is often smaller than 3 months of pregnancy.
3. Pain caused by adenomyosis of the uterus: Dysmenorrhea accompanied by sexual deterioration, menstrual abnormalities, infertility, painful sexual intercourse, pelvic pain, low fever, increased vaginal discharge, physiological pain and other discomfort symptoms. The reason for dysmenorrhea is that the ectopic endometrium bleeds with changes in the ovaries, and the local pressure outside the lesion increases. The surrounding smooth muscle tissue is stimulated, causing spasms and contractions, resulting in pain.
4. Adenomyosis of the uterus causes uterine enlargement: Gynecological examinations often reveal uterine enlargement, which occurs during and after menstruation and gradually decreases in size in the future. However, if it does not exceed the size of 3 months of pregnancy, if it exceeds 3 months, it often indicates complications.
Treatment of adenomyosis of the uterus
1. Medication treatment:
(1) Symptomatic treatment: Symptoms are mild and only require relief of dysmenorrhea symptoms, especially for patients approaching menopause. Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be used for symptomatic treatment during dysmenorrhea. Due to the atrophy of ectopic endometrium after amenorrhea, such patients can relieve pain without surgery.
