Sexual Health
Before having sex, it is important to maintain personal hygiene. Frequent sexual activity can damage personal health
What are men most concerned about their sexual organs? Many people talk about the size of the penis. But in reality, the testicles are the organ that men should pay more attention to, and are the foundation of men.
The testicles are the male reproductive organs, the processing factories for sperm and androgens, and the engine of male sexual desire. The testicles are very sensitive to the environment and are prone to various problems, so men should pay attention to self examination of the testicles.
When should testicular examination start? Firstly, testicular examination should be carried out from the moment a boy is born in order to detect diseases such as cryptorchidism earlier, and this needs to be done under the guidance of a doctor. Secondly, under normal circumstances, boys' testicles begin to grow rapidly from around the age of 11-12 and reach basic maturity by the age of 18, while completing normal adolescent development. If the testicular volume does not increase after the age of 12, immediate medical attention is needed to rule out the possibility of delayed puberty. Finally, it is recommended to conduct a monthly testicular self examination starting from the age of 15, to keep track of the size, shape, and tactile sensation of the testicles, in order to detect tumors and other lesions early on.
The best time for self examination is to relax the skin of the scrotum after taking a shower, which is easy to perform during the examination.
Specific technique: Stand and let the scrotum naturally droop, support the scrotum with the palm of your hand, observe and experience its size and weight. Gently pinch the testicles with both hands, place the thumb in front of the testicles, and place the index and middle fingers behind them. Gently rotate the testicles with your index finger and thumb to check for size, smooth surface, hard lumps, and tenderness. Pay attention to any differences between the left and right testicles. If there is an abnormal lump, it is necessary to be vigilant and seek early diagnosis and treatment from a urologist.
